I ordered these wanting the amount of color differentiation as shown in the photos for the brown. I have been craving for these to go on sale for awhile and they were knocked down so low which is why they get a 4/5, $2oo is worth the difference of what I got. They still are nice, the inside is lined so you don't have itchy old persian rug rubbing on your calves. They do run a bit large, I'm usually a 6.5 and got the 6.5 and it's kind of loose, but it'll work with thicker socks. Mine also look a bit looser in the calve as well, and maybe even stubbier? Not sure. Still like them, just not head over heels in love like I thought I'd be.

These are well made boots. The inside of the calf is lined with comfortable suede. The top of the boot is probably 15 inches around. A nice boot for the sale price although the brown color is not as interesting as the black. Also the fabric part of the boot was totally different for each boot.. Will probably send them back.
