by iysabella I love this skirt!
This skirt has it all. It's feminine but can be dressed a little edgier with boots. It fit me perfectly, I purchased a size 0, I am about 5'4" and 105lbs. It rides a little high on the waist, as shown in the pictures. There is something about the fabric, that makes it feel like it's constantly in motion. Definitely worth the money!

Looking at the style first and then the price (unique and expensive), you would think that this skirt would be simply spectacular. Not at all. The idea of it is great with the juxtaposing marriage of prints that creates a movement not often seen in skirts on the market today. But the reality does not follow through in a quality fashion--especially at this price. the silk is very thin (good for the warmer weather), however, the craftsmanship is such that it bulges in odd places on the hip and does not follow the sleek line as shown in the photo. Cannot live with that.

I adore this skirt. So versatile. I wear a size 4 typically, I ordered a 2 in this and there's still room to move. If you want it to sit higher (like in the first picture) I would suggest that you go down at least one size. If you are happy for it to sit lower on your hips, then I would still suggest going down a size!

This skirt is gorgeous. It fits be like a glove, is incredibly flattering, and the thin silk makes it cool enough to be worn in the summer yet warm enough to layer for winter. Unfortunately the thinness of the silk compromises its structure. The diamond design towards the top of the skirt was sewn directly into the thin silk with a simple stitch that creates minute tears in the fabric with normal wear. After only wearing this skirt three times the tears are so big that I don't know if I want to risk wearing it again. I'm considering taking it to a tailer to see if anything can be done, but after already spending so much on it I'm hesitant- chances are it will just rip again. I was hoping at the steep price this would be heirloom-quality, unfortunately I see myself soon repurposing the beautiful silk into something else...

This skirt is beautiful. Fit is true to size and the quality of the silk is good.
I ordered this skirt in both colours to test the size (0 & 2)
I am usually a 00 or a 24 in bottoms but do not like the snug fit of items around my waist. The 0 fits but it fits up around my navel. The 2 also fits but lower on the hip. Choose your size depending were you want the skirt to fit. I decided on the darker print as I found the red one just a bit to bright for me.
I only gave four stars due to the price

by AzizahH Stunning skirt, poor quality.
I had fallen in love with this skirt when Free People first offered it last year. It sold out before I had a chance to purchase it. I was thrilled when fp brought it back this Spring. I snatched it up right away. I had to wait a long time to wear it because it only just warmed up here in Michigan. The silk that makes up this skirt is so soft and moves with you, almost taking on a life of its own. The print is vivid and eye catching. I have worn this skirt twice and received a myriad of complements. Unfortunately, the skirt is poorly constructed and the quality of the silk is terrible. The skirt puckers along the seams and although I have only warn the skirt twice there are hundreds of small tears in the silk. I am not sure if I will be able to wear this skirt another time without it looking completely tattered. I don't think I have ever been more disappointed in an article of clothing, especially considering the price.

I have a 27 waist, 37 hips, and I ordered a size 4. (I wear size 4 in most jeans, but for FP skinnies I wear a size 28). The skirt rides low on my hips, maybe an inch lower than pictured on the model, but i wanted that in order to create an elongated look for the waist. The skirt is lovely, light silk and hangs just like in the pictures. The slight flaw is that, where the golden lace makes the pattern at the hips, the silk does not quite lay flat in between the lace, but I can live with it. I ordered the Mango Massai color and am thrilled with it. The only thing that differs from the pictures is that the lace is more of a dull mustard yellow than the golden yellow it looks like in the photographs. I shall treasure this for years. It's dramatic and gorgeous and versatile.
