Rated 5 out of 5Â by HappyVintage Favorite dress This is my favorite dress ever. Not exaggerating. As other reviewers said, it is very heavy in a good way because it is so exquisitely detailed. It hangs beautifully because of the weight. I bought it for a winter black & white party and it worked perfectly. It's a very warm, creamy color & worked well as a winter white. I styled it with black tights, black booties & a ton of bangles. I have never gotten as many compliments on an outfit as I did this one. I am typically an XS, 5'3" and 110 lbs. The dress ran true-to-size. It's hard for me to find dresses that hit me in the mid-thigh & this one did. I would recommend this as a winter dress. 4.19.2013

Rated 3 out of 5Â by SaraCo Beautiful Dress...Misleading Photographs My daughter bought this dress for her high school graduation, where she is required to wear a white dress. All the images on the site indicated that the dress was white, and even the ivory description could lead to "off" white - which is still OK...but the dress that arrived is a flat, muddy beige color with stark white embroidery. There is NOTHING white or even ivory about the color of the dress. It's beige...almost taupe. The detail work is lovely. As other reviews have said, it's heavy, and there is a LOT of material. At 5'10" she ordered the medium for length. It hit mid thigh as on the model, but the trapeze cut is VERY roomy...You could easily size down and still have plenty of dress. A lovely dress but totally misleading description. I wish FP would put some effort into accurately representing the item colors on the site. This isn't the first time I have received merchandise that is not the color depicted. Unless there is a way to dye the material a true white, this one is going back. 2.2.2013

It was way too tight under the arms, the neckline was awkward and too high, it was bulky and extremely heavy, and it wasn't white. Although it looks white in the picture, it is more of a nude with accents of white and very slight pink. When I first opened my package with the dress inside, quite a few beads fell right off and I felt like I was going to break it while I was just standing in it. The reviews before me were really accurate and I wish I had just listened to them instead of getting my hopes up. In case you were wondering, I am 5'10" and I am a 34 below the bust, typically a size 4. 1.31.2013

Rated 4 out of 5Â by restock Good for the price, but... This dress is extremely heavy (as the other reviewer noted), but the workmanship on the body of the dress is pretty amazing. The beading and embroidery are both lovely. I will be returning the dress though for a few reasons. The dress is quite tight in the armpits, and I feel going a size bigger will just look wonky as the dress is already quite voluminous. I honestly think the model's may be pinned (or else she's holding back some of the volume in every picture, and it does look like she could be doing that in each photo.). The skirting of the dress is VERY loose! I wanted something with lots of drape and movement, and that just didn't happen on my frame (petite). I also dislike the straps which i consider the only cheap aspect of the dress. The straps look like a cheap satin, and the cut/line is not flattering. Notice the model's hair covers the straps in each photo. This dress would be perfect if some of the volume were removed and the straps were of a different fabric, cut, and style. As it is, it just doesn't work. At least not for me. :( for reference I'm 5'1", small on top and middle, big hips. 11.13.2012

Rated 4 out of 5Â by myownstyle Beautiful but very heavy Beautiful dress, looks just like in the photo, but it is VERY heavy, because of all the beading and embroidery. And for me (34-26-36) the XS fit great except for under the arms where it was tight. Debating whether to exchange for a S which may be big overall, or have it let out under the arms. I am 5'3" and it was about 4" above the knee for me, which I like. 10.17.2012
