What a gorgeous dress! I ordered a size M (I am usually UK size 12) and the overall fit is pretty much spot on. This dress is probably better suited to a girl with a bit of a bosom and some hips, I imagine it would probably not sit well otherwise!
The skirt is perhaps a little too long, but then again my legs are a little shorter than usual and also don't intend to wear heels with it.
It is more sparkly in real life than the pictures, especially on the top part of the dress, but this doesn't bother me. It is also much more 'ivory' in real life, in some of the pics it looks more white. But again, I prefer ivory to white so this is fine for me!
I do however agree with some of the other reviews: the lining is poor and will NOT stay up longer than 2 minutes, and also the shoulder straps are very loose - but these are things that can easily be altered with the help of a good seamstress. I was well aware of this before I ordered it, and was prepared to tweak it a little till its perfect. I guess it just depends how badly you want the dress and if you are prepared to spend the time and effort to have the alterations done.
I am wearing it to my outdoor summer wedding, and for the price I have paid for a 'wedding' dress, this little extra effort is well worth it - considering how pretty it is!

So I ordered the Lace gown golden ochre and guess what I got instead... this drapey princess dress gone horribly wrong. I decided to try it on since it was there... OMG.
It doesn't really look good on the model it just looked ridiculous on me. I'm short and slim (5'1, 90lbs) so if you think it looked long on the model just imagine on a shorter girl. In addition I have a short bust. I honestly do not understand who could pull this off. It's not just the unflattering cut it's also the fabric, it's heavy really heavy because of the waist band.
To conclude this dress is ugly unfaltering poorly designed with a questionable choice in fabric. A perfect waste of $600.

I've been a FP girl for 15 years and of course saw this and immediately thought it would be PERFECT for my upcoming wedding this summer. Unfortunately, the whole thing didn't work for me. I'm athletic, usually wear a size small in most brands but XS in Free People. The XS was huge on me and did nothing to flatter my figure. The drop waist made my torso look like a beer gut when I sat down and there is just SO much fabric in the back it would make the skinniest person look wide. The straps don't stay up at all, I would have had to rig something to keep them up. And the liner is a very heavy knit with zero shape, just a big saggy strapless tube. I wish it was light and delicate like the rest of the fabrics. All in all, the details are beautiful and I so wanted it to be perfect but I know I would be fiddling with the straps and pulling up the lining all day. It's not effortless nor flattering in any way.

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it.
I'm 6'1 and found the proportions of the dress did not fit well at all. The neckline was too low and the waistline was too high. I ordered a large and it was very wide and not nearly long enough. I'm so sad :<
I'll be sending this one back.
The quality is wonderful though, just didn't fit my height and figure.

This dress is totally sheer. It runs large. I recommend to size down a size. It is much more beautiful in person. The detailing and color are very lovely. Soft, extremely delicate material. Dress up or dress down. Recommend.
