I researched the size and fit of this dress long and hard before committing, and I haven't been disappointed! As it's autumn now I'm getting even more wear out of it, layering sweaters + scarves over-top has never been so easy. Plus, I'm still getting some wear out of it even though I'm 20-weeks-pregnant...
Be warned it is rather long, I'm 5'9", 140lbs, & bought M, but had to chop about 2 inches off the bottom so that it wouldn't drag on the ground. Thankfully with the raw hem no one can tell.

Got this in Olive, Size Small. I'm 5'10, 34/36B & 150lbs...I normally wear a size small in FP tops. I LOVE this dress. It flatters my figure in all the right places. The fabric is so comfy cozy, makes me want to snuggle up by the fire with a cup of tea after a walk in the brisk fresh air of the farmer's market on the coast. I'm so excited to see they've added another color. Such a great deal for such a great price. A great Cotte for Renaissance Faire goers. If you've got the crochet cuff henley, I suggest ordering that same size. For an even more medieval look, add a lacy crop underneath!

I originally bought this in the green & waited for the black one to be back in stock. Very comfortable dress - one of my favorites from FP. Easy to dress up or down. I had the green one in Medium but my husband did my laundry for me one day & shrank it! After that, it was a little too clingy in the tummy area so this time I'm sizing up, just in case. Yes, the top of this dress is tighter than the lower half so you MUST really know your body type & when to size up. The beauty of this dress is that it has a raw hem, so ladies.... if it's too long, it's OK to trim off the bottom! Don't be bothered by that! Just be sure you got the fit right in the chest/arm area. I'm 6' and I still had to cut an inch off of mine when I got it. I would love to see more colors....

This is a great easy piece. As noted in most reviews it does run super long. I also found that the sleeves are snug. I ordered the black in a large and soooo glad that I did. The hem is unfinished so trimming it is super easy. I thought it would be thicker/heavier fabric but it's nice and not bulky at all, and like most black cotton fabrics, if you have pets, keeping a lint roller handy is a must!

This dress is looonnngg (i am 5'0".) but the best part is that it does not have a finished bottom seam, so I just cut it off with a scissor and it has worked great!

so soft! makes your chest look fantastic. I got it in the olive green and as soon as I slapped a big belt on with it, my husband told me I looked like Maid Marion.....I like it anyway....good quality and it's not terribly long on me. though I am 5'8ish...

I wanted to love this dress sooo bad but it was all wrong. You need to be very thin to pull this off. Such a cute idea though! The material is amazing and the fit is great up top just once it hits the hip area it gets really tight and looks awful. If this was more of an a-line design I think it would be perfect.

I ordered the dress in the Cranberry color and absolutely love it! I read a lot of reviews before deciding what size to get. I'm thin with a small frame so I was debating whether or not to get the XS, but I do have a larger chest so I wasn't sure about the top fitting...my measurements are 36", 26", 36" and I'm 5'5". I ended up ordering a small and it fits perfectly. The arms are indeed skinny like people say, but I do have slender arms and they feel fine. The dress is very long, when I wear heels it falls perfectly to the floor. I don't have a very curvy figure, but this dress has such a simple, flattering cut, it looks lovely on.
