Just got this as a fun alternative to my other winter coats that are almost all long and/or black. I found the color true to the pictures. This coat is SO soft! I ordered a large to be safe for layering and I adore the fit. It is a little roomy but still looks great zipped or unzipped. This has multiple zippers and buttons that can style the jacket. I think the jacket is very warm but the sleeves are a bit thin compared to the sherpa body. Also, the sherpa does not extend to the backing, just the front/side-ish areas. I really like this and love that it brings some edge to my normally blah winter-coat-wardrobe.

A great, cosy jacket in colours which are as rich in reality as on screen. True to size, I think: I have the L which is a comfortable but not too bulky fit (for ref I am: UK 14/16 FP M/L 10/12 36/38C 5'6"). Lengthwise on me the L looks as the S does on the model. It feels and looks luxurious, but is misleading to say it has a wool lining, which is what stopped me giving it 5*. The coloured shell is 25% wool 25% polyester 50% acrylic. The fleecy collar extends inside to about two thirds of the front of the jacket, not the whole jacket, and is not wool as stated in the description, but 80% polyester 20% acrylic faux fleece. It looks good, however, and as long as it stands up to wear it isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned, and it may be a plus for vegans. The rest of the lining is black polyester. The fleece collar/inside front lining can be partially but not fully detached, where it joins the flannel collar and along the inside edges of the jacket, so you can wear it with the collar looking smaller, just at the top, and with the white lining showing loose at the front if you wear the jacket unzipped. It just gives it an alternative look. The coloured jacket lapels on each side also unzip into two parts for a slightly different look. I was inspired to get this by the style pic that was posted by AlexaLeighFP (I think this lady must be more petite than me because on me the collar does not look quite so large!). I'm glad I saw that picture, I am delighted with this jacket and, assuming the fabric holds up well and doesn't pill too much, I will love wearing it for years. Something to brighten up the greyer days.
