"Yes! I know how to pick em. I ordered xsmall, I am very petite, size 00 or 24. when I opened the lovely free people bag one word came to mind "Chanel" these are indeed classy tweed shorts. I plan to wear them to events, dates, etc. I think if you buy them too small they will indeed be a bootie short as the other gal mentions. Not on me. I think petite can get away with this. Extremely well made, has a beautiful camel silk lining. You wonâ??t be disappointed. had I known they were this timeless and vintage like (Chanel like) I would have not batted an eye to pay full price. I am currently waiting for someone to return an x small in the black and the other mini shorts with crochet trimming . This is a classic not a trend."

"These are teenie-tiny bootie shorts. I ordered these in XS back in August and was excited to finally get them.
Im a size 0 in most Free People pants and these fall right on my hips, (not on my natural waist) but are comfortable and not too tight. I like that they are a made of a thick fabric (75%Wool/25% polyester)and are lined with a light tan sateen fabric (100% polyester lining). The front is a simple zipper with two functional small pockets- and zippers accessorize the rear "pockets" (which are not functional).
My only concern is that they are very very short and if you have any sort of bottom, a little might peak out (as you see in the 5th picture on the site).
Otherwise, these are really nicely made shorts- made by Hungarian designer Sandra Sandor's label Nanushka. Pricey, but these will last you for years~"
