"As everyone else has said, this skirt isn't very flattering to the hips. Regardless, it's still a stunning skirt. The black is slightly witchy, but ultimately really sweet. It looks great layered with sweaters and coats, which hides the hips. Overall, I'm very happy I purchased this skirt on discount. It's not perfect, but it's still a favorite piece in my closet this fall."

"I liked both colors but ended up getting it in black. First time I tried it, I was disappointed and wasn't sure I would keep it. Like some of the previous reviews pointed out, it can be unflattering and make your hips look huge because there is so much material around the hip area. The length of the skirt in general can be tricky to carry off. The fabric is nice and soft but the elastic is not quite as firm as I'd like it to be. Definitely size down. I got XS (5'6" around 115 lbs) and I still have lots of room around the waist. The skirt did grow on me after I tried it on with a belt. I think it is a good bargain at sale price."

"This skirt is really, really pretty. I wore it today with a long sleeved navy and ivory striped T, a grandpa sweater in navy and ballet flats and got many compliments, even from people who do not normally pay attention to clothes. I am VERY pear shaped, and this skirt worn at my natural waist is not fluffy or poofy, and is very flattering. I am going to order the black, because this skirt can really be used many ways, and should pack nicely as well. Grab this on sale girls, great deal."

"I am 5 5" and 110 pounds, and I ordered the x-small. It is very beautiful, very ballerina-like, but fits kind of strangely. Its quite loose around the waist and poofs out in a weird way. It is not that flattering, but with a belt it works. It is too pretty to send back, so I will try and work it. It is soft, delicate, and a great deal. I would recommend this skirt, though be warned if you have larger hips."

"I'm not usually a pink girl, but I tried ordering this skirt because I thought it would look nice "toughened up" with a leather jacket and boots (and b/c it finally went on sale). I'm glad I went for it, because this skirt is a keeper. The fabric makes it unique, it can be dressed up or down, and it's crazy comfortable. As for fit, I'm 5'3" & 112 lbs, and I got the extra small; due to the elastic waistband, there is a lot of wiggle room. So if you're in between sizes or have a smaller waist, size down."

"This skirt fits great. I got the rose color in xs. However, the color is really dull. It's a little bit see through too. For $168, I would return it. But since I got it at such a good deal $50, I would just keep it."

"I am 160cm tall, and I got this in XS. For me, the length of the skirt is no problem, even wearing flat shoes, it still doesn't cover all my legs, you can see a bit of ankles. I think, the style and the pink color is really girly and sweet, almost like every young girl's dreaming piece. Absolutely no regrets for this skirt!"

"I got the pink ish color in the store for very good price, and it was beautiful. I feel in love at first site. I usually wear xs but they only had small, so I got the small. It is slightly loose but it is comfortable, so I will take it. I am 5'6" and about 120lbs and the skirt comes around my ankle if I wear it around the hip and it is similar to model length when I wear it around my waist.
I like how it looks very cute and girly, and kind of remind me of a ballerina skirt, and I totally recommend it."
