This jacket was a high school crush turned true romance. I longed for its embrace and kept it on my wishlist until one day it magically appeared in my free people store. I put it on and melted into it. The detail of the stitching is beautifully intricate, the inner and outer linings soft and strong. I love the natural off-white cream color. I wear it open with scarves and sweaters and boots in shades of neutrals and burgundy. It's cozy in cold weather but still pleasantly warm in cool weather. Perfect.
It does fit a little on the big side and the silhouette is rather square. The double zipper can be a little sticky to maneuver. There are two metal buttons on the inside of the lapel that appear to do nothing. Other than these minor nick-pickings, this jacket is WONDERFUL.

/what really disappointed me was the huge difference between the jacket in the pics and the jacket I received. If the pics showed a black and white jacket (and most of the reviews complained it was actually beige and black), mine was eggshell and black. This wasn't such a big issue, however. The big issue is that, after taking the jacket to the cleaner's, the colors faded, and the allegedly whitish part turned into a faded blue. I'm not sure it's still wearable.

was a bit disappointed when I received the package. The jacket is quite big, not flattering, becaus of ist bulky shape. The colour is not eggshell, but Kind of dirty Grey Brown. does not look like on the Picture. sorry

Despite the "white" parts of this jacket really being a rather dark cream, this is still a beautiful jacket. Sadly, I had to return mine, since it was just too tight across what are admittedly my broad shoulders. But don't let that stop the more petite among you -- nice jacket, nice weight, nice quality.

Received this jacket today... It is so gorgeous and it's much warmer than I thought it would be (which is great because I'm in Montana and it's freezing right now). This jacket is rather large and I'm kinda of wishing I would have ordered a small (I ordered a medium). I'm going to keep it despite how big it is because I love layering and I'll be able to fit a sweater under it easily.

I really fell in love with all the etching on this jacket. My one complaint is that it's pretty shapeless (a bit box). It's warm, zips up nicely, and is well constructed. I wouldn't have purchased this jacket at the original price point, but found the sale price quite reasonable. It's odd to think of a jacket as a main part of a layering piece, but this is one of those articles of clothing just looks more awesome as a layer, unzipped.

I had been watching this jacket for weeks and was so glad to get it for a reasonable price. Wearing it to several quilt shows this Spring. It will go over very big with the artists.

for reference im 5'3 140 lbs 36C i got a medium and its the perfect fit. this jacket won't take a heavy sweater under it but a thin one will work without being too tight in the arms, I find a lot of recent fp items are too tight in the arms so i was worried, but it's fine and comfy. The light colour is tan, almost a cardboard colour. The sleeves are not real suede but they look like it. one thing that was disappointing is that it came very wrinkled in the mail (even though it was packed in a box not a bag) and it was tough to iron them all out. very happy with the sale price!! im sure this will get lots of comments, very unique piece so happy i made the gamble and purchased it!!
