Set of five multi-tonal hair chalks that come in an adorable Free People metal box. Easy to apply and easy to wash out! This product has not been animal tested!

How to Use Hair Color Chalk:

1. Dampen the hair where you would like the colors.
2. Rub hair color chalks on the damp section of hair.
3. For longer lasting colors, straighten or curl the hair using heat.
4. For chalking dry hair, wet the pastel chalks first and then rub on your hair.

To remove the hair color chalk, shampoo your hair and the colors will fade. Easy!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by rufio tiny They box these come in is smaller than an altoid box.For some reason from the picture I thought I was getting a nice large pencil case of chalk. $14 for about three fingers of chalk. And this is chalk we're talking about, it can't be that expensive to make. I wish you could just pick the colors you want instead of having to buy a set with other random colors (ie. in the green box there is a dark indigo, a navy blue, a bright leaf green, a teal and a yellow. How about just a green man? Wouldn't I have ordered the yellow box if that's what I wanted). Once you use up the color you bought the box for which won't take more that 3 uses if you have a lot of hair then you're out of luck. BTW I have since discovered that this is the exact same chalk that you can buy at an art store. 5.29.2013

I have blondish hair and even the lighter colors from the pink set show up perfectly. At first I was concerned that once my hair dried the chalk would maybe flake off, but it hasn't at all. It stays on and the colors are bright and vivid. I'm going to be walking around with rainbow hair for awhile now I think, because I am obsessed! 4.12.2013

The only problem that I experienced with the chalk is that the Reds and pinks stayed in my hair for a longer period than any other color. I have extremely blonde hair, almost white i guess...but I was nervous that the colors would not come out of my hair with only one wash. The pink hues are the only colors that I had any sort of a hassle with. But they came out after the 2nd or 3rd washes. Super fun and easy to use. Just be careful with them they are fragile and they ware down easily. I recommend this product because you can temporarily change up your look. 4.5.2013

Although FP sent me the yellow hair chalk by accident the red color looked great with my light brown hair. The color lasted for a day when putting it on damp hair. I think the hair chalk is a bit expensive but fun to wear. 3.16.2013
