"When I tried this on, I immediately took it off. It fit my chest and bum perfect, however, I have hip bones, and they stuck out a mile wide! I am nowhere near that big anyhow..(I'm 5'6, 116) and it was not flattering at all.."

"Medium is my normal size, and I tried this on in both medium and large. Ended up buying the large because while the medium worked, it was noticeably shorter, and I wanted to wear it as a dress. The only problem with the large is that the shoulders are a little big, but it's hardly noticeable.
This dress is adorable, flattering, and can be dressed up or down. It's soft and feels light to wear, but it's lined and definitely not see-through - my black bra didn't even show through the silver, which is unusual for Free People."

"I bought this in black cherry. I am usually a S/M in tops and 9 or 29 in pants. This dress goes on pretty snug, so I'm glad I got L. I really like all the ruching and the fact that, while this dress is not super thick, it is not sheer at all. I wore tight cotton shorts underneath and you couldn't even tell. I was worried it might be too short because of the way it looked on the model, but in person it is longer (truly a dress), especially in the back. That said, you can adjust the length a bit to your liking. I wore this to get dressed up, but I can see dressing it down too."

"I ordered this in black in a medium (I am 5'8" and 140lbs). I expected it to be very tight which it kinda is but I probably could have sized down. The length is longer but can be scrunched to shorten it. The scrunched part of the dress that appeares in the pictures is actually how the dress is made and put together only intensified (you can't get rid of that). The neckline is a little wider. The material is thin, soft, and comfortable. Gave it 4 starts because it is a bit over priced. The side runched tunic looks similar and does not cost nearly as much."
