Rated 4 out of 5 by So HOT!! This is my second pair of JC shoes, and I am definitely a convert. I bought this in black as soon as they showed up on the website, and I am so glad I did. They're a great basic black shoe with some spice. They are VERY big, so if big chunky shoes are not your thing, these won't be a good fit for you. Also, my one complaint, and this seems to be with JC shoes in general, is that they have NO traction. In a rainy environment, this is a must, or else you WILL slip and look silly. I ended up having to put traction pads on them which unfortunately cheapens the look a bit, and is hard because the toe of the shoe is curved. Aside from that though, very happy purchase. Be aware that the black color may look naturally scuffed and frayed, but I think this is the look they are going for. Also, there is a processed "leather smell" of chemicals that is very distinct when you first take them out but it passes after they're in the air for a bit. 2.8.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by i love lita! I got these in the taupe in a 6.5 and was SO worried I'd need a 7, but the 6.5 was perfect, if almost a little large. I am typically somewhere between a 6.5/7, usually 6.5. That made me really happy because i wanted to be able to wear them with cute socks when I felt like it. The taupe is a really pretty color and it does have little bits of a faded orangey-red in places, they look really cool and worn in. These shoes are like the perfect reincarnation of all that is the 1970's. They're showstoppers, and you will get lots of compliments/stares/questioning looks when you wear them because they're very much a statement piece. I wore them with the Lace Inset Sweatshirt in the grey colorway and some medium-wash distressed jeans and it was a really great combo! I work retail and wore them the first time out of the box for about 7 hours, and while my feet did hurt a bit at the end of the day, it was nothing like what I expected or am used to for heels. I highly recommend these, they're a sought-after shoe that's actually comfortable & worth the splurge! 3.7.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoes OH.MY.GOD. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love these shoes. Seriously. I have two other pairs of Litas (BMvsJCs and Lita Spikes), and these are the most comfortable. I got them in the taupe, and they are nicer in real life than the picture. They do have that funny smell of cheap leather, but I love them so much it does not even affect my rating of 5 stars. Seriously great shoes. <3 10.11.2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by No regrets Jeffrey Campbell is the greatest! I get so many compliments. I own Eloise, and begged for my second pair of Jeffrey's for Christmas. I'm 5'1' and these gave me height without making me look like I was on stilts. Don't be afraid of the heel! It's platform and comfortable. I ordered a 6.5 in black and it fit perfectly, but they wasn't any wiggle room. Yesterday, I scuffed the tip walking up stairs so now I'm hoping as I wear them more that they will become more distressed looking. Avoid driving long distances in these because 1. it's difficult and 2. you won't want to damage the heel. It looks like it would scratch easily. I have no complaints. Be kind to your closet. Adopt a pair of Ophelia's. 12.26.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't Have Too Many I own so many of these boots. They are so comfortable and well made and they add height and texture to any outfit. They are worth every penny! 11.13.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lita Love! I've got this shoe in a few colors and love it in every way! The fit is narrow in general, but standard for a JC heel. (Note, if you have only worn JC boots, these fit MUCH more narrow than the boots. To wit, I got a 6 in the Brit Boot and even then those were roomy, but I had to get a 7.5 in these to get the shoe wide enough. I'd say they are on par with IC and a bit more wide than DV.) However you make your usual size adjustments for width, hopefully that helps. In general, if you have a narrow foot, go with your usual size in any shoe. If your foot is average, go up half a size. If your foot is wide, go up a full size, maybe a size and a half. 6.13.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfection I just wore these all day, on my feet for 10 hours, and I am not in any pain what so ever. these shoes are so comfortable, it should be a sin to have shoes that look this good AND are comfortable. this is a must must must have. J Campbell never disappoints me. 5.7.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them! I got my Litas yesterday and when I first saw them in the box I thought - "I'm not going to be able to walk in these..." but when I tried them on they were so comfortable!!! They're like the most comfortable shoes I have! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! The size is true and the pictures as well, though mine are just a bit darker (I have taupe suede). Thank you Freepeople! 5.6.2011
