The leather is not really shiny.

"I got these boots to go with a recently purchased leather bag. On the picture, they look a bit shiny and polished. When they arrived in the mail, I discovered that the color was actually very dull, and the print was barely visible. Maybe I got a defective pair, but they look more suede than leather.
However, the design is great and they're super comfortable. I won't be keeping them as I expected something different."

"Pictures do not do these boots justice. They are rugged and sexy at the same time, comfortable and look great with dresses or jeans. I'm not a real girly girl, but I do like to dress up, and these are the perfect combination of edgy, sexy, and dressed-up. The support provided by the lace-up style and ankle-high shaft is perfect for the HIGH heels - I don't feel like I'm going to tumble over myself trying to walk in these. They are true to size and a good width that doesn't pinch or feel uncomfortable. LOVE these shoes, and this price is a STEAL!"
