100% comfortable, and you can move, lift, bend.
It's fun because it's a dress, yet you can even do a short hike in it. I live in the lower Rockies, so I wear tights and comfortable boots, a long sleeve tee underneath, and knitted olive scarf- and even an olive knitted headband. You can add a belt to accent your waist if you want to. People are surprised, "I didn't know it was a dress", when they see you up and about. I think I will wash delicate in cold, and hang dry. I don't want it to shrink.

Having looked at this for weeks, finally ordered the red/taupe L and glad I did because I think it's nicer than it comes across on screen. Soft, cosy-ish but not thick fabric, it is roomier than I expected and I considered exchanging for M, but think I will stick with L for ease of wearing either open or closed, loose or belted. I am UK 14/16 FP 10/12 M/L 5'6" 36/38C and the L looks roomier on me than the S does on the model, but the length looks similar. Actually succumbed to the Perspective Heel in brown to wear with it (or will wear closed-toe boots when English weather does not permit this!) and think the combination comes across better in reality than on screen, a little punchier, colour-wise. I will get plenty if wear out of this dress.

The red color way is very nice, earthy with a punch of color. For me this runs big I'm so glad I ordered medium. (36b 32w ) however...I love color, fit and idea so much I had to make it work...I want to wear this as a dress period! Throw on w/ flip flops or boots. So I took to seamstress to sow all the way up along buttons, so I have to slip over my head. But now it won't unbutton and reveal any peek-a-boos:) also I had pockets removed:( as much as I love a good pocket, it added an extra inch on each hip (something I really don't need) so now it's perfect and I can throw it on to pick up kids at school or go grocery shopping...just loved the cool relaxed easy vibe of this piece:)

I received the olive color in this dress , nice color & a subtle plaid. It is exactly as pictured , a long shapeless piece that does nothing for my figure. Someone asked if it flared out , well no it doesn't , it is fairly straight all the way down. It's a bit wrinkled and the material is thinner than i expected.. I would probably not wear this as a dress , when i tried it on my husband asked me where i got the new bathrobe ! It would take some major glamming up unless you are going for a retro Appalachia mountain woman look - maybe a lace slip underneath and jewelry, a vest, boots, etc. to make this work, otherwise it just looks worn and baggy. If it had been less $ i would actually keep it as a throw on around the house as it is comfy and i love the pockets . Just not sure yet...

I love this dress. The color beet is so beautiful, different! It's to bad for the one gal that her Hubby thought it looked like a bathrobe! Opened at the bottom with tall boots, it is a great comfy casual dress! It may run just a tad small in the shoulders, but not enough to not buy it. I sewed some soft shoulders pads in it, wow, makes it really flattering as my shoulders are narrow and my midriff is not!!!!!!
Another FP success for me!

I liked this dress/top so much in the green that I ordered the red-orange as well. It's perfect with leggings or jeans. Very comfortable and both colors have drawn a lot of compliments.

This dress is so versatile and is really very pretty .Would look even better with some metallic treading thoughout the dress. I have had it for awhile and forgot to write a review ...I have worn it several times with jeans and different tops underneath and with the Johnny Tall boots.
I prefer not to wear it as a dress though because it is too big ...maybe a belt would help ...I wore it once mostly unbuttoned with the seamless spandex slip dress ...just can't wear it as a dress .
Not a heavy material not very warm ..very soft and comfortable. Fits like on the model.

I love you guys. I had wanted a piece like this for a long time. I bought it and kept it but you have to work this one. I am 5.4 and a size 4 bottom - size 0 to 2 on top. The small in this was WAY too small on top and then oversized on the bottom. The sleeves fit above my wrist etc. I thought it was a defective one and you kindly sent me another one. To be safe I asked for a medium. The medium up top fit just right and the bottom was even bigger but I am keeping it, belting it, pinning it etc. I would actually wait for this one to go on sale as the sizing is off. But the fabric and color are wonderful!
