I just received this dress and was so surprised by the colour. It barely looks ivory at all. It's mostly a peachy pink colour.
I would send it back but since I live in Canada and would have to wait since I paid Duty, taxes, etc(my choice) to get it back to FP and then wait longer to get re-embursed for all money owed to me,I've decided not to bother. The dress style, however, is very pretty and fits tight except for the waist. I would definitely recommend this dress in the navy or chestnut and even the "ivory",if you like a peach/pink dress.

I tried this on in the store and thought it was beautiful. All FP lace dresses seem to be slightly large on me in terms of overall fit but a bit too short (5'10" tall), this one is no exception. I wear xs or s in FP tops/dresses and took an xs in this one. As mentioned in other reviews, the ivory dress is not true ivory at all, it has a peachy hue. I think it looks even better in person. Very girlish looking, with the exception of the open back, so I will wear with boots and sweater that are a bit edgier.

The ivory dress in the store has more pink details than pictured on the website and almost doesn't seem ivory at all. I was really disappointed when I saw it in the store until I saw the blue one! Amazing. The blue dress is perfect for the fall and can be paired with so many things. I definitely recommend it.

I just tried on the three colors in the store - I went with the navy, even though I had originally thought I would like the ivory in contrast to my dark hair. FYI that the ivory in real life has a pretty obvious orange outline/undertone to the lace design. It looks pinker online, which would have been cuter, but the orange takes away from the overall color(in my opinion). I may be going back for the chestnut as well if they still have it. The lace is very heavy and stretchy, so when I tried my usual size of XS in the navy, it was too loose in the waist and the arms. The salesperson suggested I try on another XS, a fresher one, and it was truly more fitted, the way it looks in the model. I wish they had made the waist line a little tighter, but a gorgeous dress nevertheless.

I was originally attracted to the chestnut color, but preferred the blue when I tried this dress on. I tried on both a S and XS which are my usual FP sizes, although I am not super tiny. A paradox! I found the S too loose in the tummy area. I have a flat stomach and like for certain dresses to be fitted there, so I went with an XS. Also, the waistline/ waist seam hits me a lot shorter than it does on the model. That seam almost looks like it goes down to the model's waist, when on me it hits me right at the bottom of my ribs. That's probably because I have a 36C bust and got a smaller size for the more fitted look--but just something to keep in mind when choosing your size. I wore the dress today and have gotten lots of compliments. The fabric is on the heavier side, so this dress can be worn throughout the Fall. Overall, it's a nice piece and seems like a girl can get a lot of wear out of it which I like. For sizing reference, I am 5'3", 140lbs and as stated, 36C bust and an XS fits me just right.

I tried this dress on in Free People today in all three colors. They are all very beautiful. I especially loved the blue but I also was drawn to the rose. I could not choose so decided to wait on it. But of course immediately after returning home I decided on the blue. I will be returning to purchase it. The lace was an amazing feel and not at all itchy. The socks pictured with it is also a must for the dress!
