"I love these. I'm always a little scared to buy shoes online because it's such a question if they'll be comfy but I've been looking for a new pair of sandals for a while and the sale on these was so good. The size is spot on and I find them to be very comfortable. I have problems walking on heels but these platforms are stable enough for me and because the heel isn't that much higher than the front they're very comfortable. On my pair the ribbons were an even length. Although it takes a little bit to figure out how to tie them up the first time for me the ribbons stay up quite well. And even though it's winter I'm sorely tempted to wear them with bright tights."

Cute but unstable

"Not a stable shoes when walking even when you tie the laces so tight around your feet and legs. Had to return it cuz i kept feeling like my foot was falling side-ways."

"ok...so have been eyeing these since May (i think??!!) but since i purchased 8 other prs of wedges/platform sandals for the summer during a mad day of shopping last April i couldnt quite bring myself to put myself further into debt...soo after a FP hiatus of a few months (needed to lower the credit ratio to bank balance a bit ;D) i saw these $49. and since i didnt see anything else i really wanted on the website i purchased..WOW..Gr8 sandals..until i tried to put them on..the left side braided strap was about 16in longer than the right (no joke it really was that much longer) and if i cut them i fear the straps may come further undone..as they came, brand new, already undone quite a bit.. I knotted them to stop them from coming undone..the braiding is exactly like the friendship bracelets i made when 5 yr old..i couldnt master the art of braiding 5 or 6 strings back then & still do not possess that talent. (if i only mastered that braiding merit badge when i was a girl scout )...also unless I tie them tight enough where it digs into your skin & cut off circulation they do not stay up very well..at least i had that issue..perhaps this is why they got sooo low in price..or perhaps i got a lemon..who knows? these sandals are great in theory and sooo gorgeous..many compliments i got the 2x's i did try to wear them. (with long skirt to hide the tops of straps since they are so diff in length they look off)..but with the straps the way they are, they will sit in my closet until i can figure out what to do to fix them (with the other 50+pr of shoes/sandals that didnt quite work that i cant seem to part with..)..oh well at least they were only $50 spent MUCH more on WORSE things..such is life!"

"i got these for the sale price, so i'm not that disappointed, but i can't seem to tie these right... i might wind up cutting the strings to make them fit better but i wish they were just easier to begin with"

"I was searching for shoes just like these for such a long time and I am definitely happy with them. The ribbon is not too silky or slippery. Also they are really comfy for me. It is going to take me a little while and practice to tie them so they stay nice and tight and in place. I think it might just be the ribbon stretching a little as I walk in them but it is after few hours of wearing them that I would really notice them loosening up a bit. I prefer wearing them tighter on the foot then how they have them in the picture so the ribbon turns out a bit narrower then in the pictures. I will be wearing these all summer."
