When I first saw this in the sale section, my eyes lit up! But I was skeptical because Free People is the sister of UO, and their bags tend to fall apart. So I fussed around with it some before finally giving in. It seems fairly sturdy. Especially because of it having leather. I only purchase leather bags because they last. I could tell right away by the smell. It wasn't until just reading these other reviews that I have become worried. They could have just received a faulty bag though. Here's hoping mine last for years!

I recently bought this bag on sale, and the part that holds the strap (brown piece) broke off after two days. I can't believe how poorly the bag is constructed. One compartment of the bag had all these loose strings that made the bag look 20 years old. I returned it immediately. The design is cute, so I still gave 1 star, but it's not worth it.

I was excited to see this bag go on sale and snapped it up. Seemed like a great summer bag, until one week in and the zipper on the larger outer pocket completely broke, the teeth no longer grip. Unless i want to sew the pocket shut it's become useless since the pocket now just hangs completely open. Very sad.

This is like a mini version of the distressed burnout satchel that is much larger made by free people. It is cute and roomy. Enough pockets to hold everything.
