"I bought this when it was full price and returned it because the fit was a bit awkward. Like many reviewers before me- it didn't hit right in the waist. When I saw it was on sale I went up one size and it arrived today. Fortunately the Levis used on my skirt were 501 originals this time and have the button fly. Drops right on my hips. The bad? After 30 minutes of wear around the house the ruffles (patterned ones) began to fray. Why on a skirt- originally 200$ would the finnishing be so shoddy? I am keeping it and am going to use pinking sheers to see if I can prevent it from becoming fringe. Very disappointing. I am keeping it because it is awesome. It is also Shorter then the size smaller. which is weird to me. the 25 dragged on the floor- another reason for my return even though it didn't sit correctly on my hips and this one barely touches my shoes. I am a 29"/30" inseam. A very inconsistent production in my opinon- but still very hip and fun for a SF girl like me, so Im keeping it and will replace the ruffles with other fabric one it reaches that point which may be in another 30 minutes...."

"So I saw that this skirt was on sale and was reluctant to get it at first because of some of the bad reviews, but I decided to take my chances with it anyway. Before I go into details, I'm 5'7", weigh 110lbs, and have a real slim and slender body shape, with a little bit of curves. I had originally brought the dress in a size 26, because that the size I normally buy in jeans. The skirt was beautiful when I got it. The patches were different than the ones shown in the picture, but I didn't mind that because it still looked nice. Then when I had tried it on, the dress was very loose on me. The length was perfect for me (I have long legs) but the dress was roomy around my hips and when I pulled it up to my waist, it was even more roomy and bulky. I knew if I tried to wear this with a belt it would look bulky and bunched up around my waist which would not had been a good look at all. I ended up exchanging the skirt for a size 24, which fit aorund my hips perfectly and looked even better than the other one I had. So if you a slender shape like I do and don't have much hips, I suggest sizing down on the skirt size. I love this skirt and can't wait to wear it!"

"The skirt is gorgeous. I love the style and patches. I knew it would have a bit of distressed look, but didn't realize it would look soiled. I'll need to try it with several different tops to see if it is worth keeping."

"Got my skirt in the mail today and I must say, it looks better on the model. It didnt quite fit me right and didnt look or fit anything like the picture. Sent it back:("

"This skirt is very unique, to say the least. The ruffled bottom gives this skirt a very different look. I like this skirt, just not on me. For some reason this just didn't suit me.. This fit TTS, but the length was a bit long."
