I love these pants and that's why I have chosen to keep them. HOWEVER @$128 I would expect there to be lining in a tweed pant. They are extremely itchy. Now I will take them to the tailor and spend who knows what to get lining sewn into these pants simply because I absolutely love the fit and know that I will not be able to get a pant like these any place else. Hopefully i won't have to spend too much at the tailor (maybe FP can reimburse me for completing there unfinished pants)

I absolutely loved these pants on the website and had the perfect shirt to go with them. I was super disappointed when I got them and discovered that the tweed is not lined! I thought this to be uncharacteristic of free people because the pants i have gotten for here in the past have been very well made. Well any way, the lack of lining makes them incredibly itchy. The saddest part is that they look really cute on, but it is to itchy to tolerate. So unless you plan on wearing another pair of pants or tights underneath them all the time, these are not your pants. I had to knock 2 stars off for the itch and 1 for the price because they are to expensive for a pair of pants that seem to me, to be half finished.

beautiful print fabric. goes with anything, and has a timeless quality with a little bit of trendiness. yep, they are somewhat scratchy, but with some silk long undies, they are perfect. fit true to size. the bottom edge is unfinished, so they do need hemming. ive got my needle and thread beside me and i hope to get to it soon!

I just got these on sale, and had to hem them up a fair bit, but they are awesome. They are unlined, but unlike some of the other reviews, I don't find them too itchy. I can see that it would take a LOT of material if these were to be fully lined. I've also tried wearing them with leggings underneath, which could also be an option for colder weather.
The material is a medium weight, which should be good for fall/spring (and winter as well, since I live in a mild climate). I got them in a size 4, and find that the waist fits true to size. (For reference, I'm 5'4", 34-27-33). They are versatile enough to dress up or down-- I think they'll be seeing a lot of wear!

If you are hourglass and actually have a posterior these pants are not for you. You would think that wide leg pants took into consideration that an adult woman does not have the waist or backside of a 12 year old. They did not fit at all. I returned them the next day. Inconsistent sizing.
