"I took out the slip so that I could wear this as a layering piece. There are a lot of skirts I have from Free People that this skirt can be worn with. I wear it beneath other skirts, ie- shorter lacy skirts or longer mesh slips/skirts. It works. For $29 a good deal. The slip gave it an obvious line of shear to opaqueness. I prefer subtly."

"I am so lucky that this skirt didn't sell out in my size because it is one of the best skirts I've bought in a long time. The sheer black mesh over the light pick gives it a edgy look while remaining totally feminine. I do love the outfit that was put together on this website for the skirt but there are so many other ways to wear it all year round. Don't pass this one up cause you will regret it."

"Despite the poor reviews from previous reviewers, I decided to give this skirt a chance and I am so glad I did! The length measurements are accurate (I doubled checked with my own measuring tape), and since I am only 5'7", the front of the skirt falls a bit closer to the knee on me than on the model, and the back falls right at the knee. The material is soft and beautiful and seems to resist static cling. It moves really well as you walk. The skirt arrived a bit wrinkled, since it is shipped in a small bag, but a spritz of water softened out the creases. I would worry about snagging this fabric, since it is so delicate. Otherwise, nothing will prevent me from wearing this skirt as much as possible!"

this skirt is HUGE.

"SO disappointed...I'm 5'6", 130 pounds, I have a small waist & curvy hips; I wear a size small. I ordered my usual size thinking this was gonna be the best mesh skirt ever.....WRONG. I dunno how they made it look like that on the model, but on me the waist band was humongous, the skirt was extremely loose, & it came down to my knees. Considering I'm a bit on the taller side, that's saying a lot. If I hadn't already paid eighty something dollars on the skirt, I would've considered getting it fitted & hemmed. This skirt has such a cute style & cut, its sad that it fits the way it does. Needless to say, I returned it. Get it together Free People. Still on the hunt for an amazing mesh/tulle skirt."

"I was really excited for this skirt, I really like A-line skirts from FP. First off, this isn't a FP skirt, its by another brand. The mesh is really thin, and this might work as a spring/summer skirt, but not as a fall/winter. I am 5'6 and this skirt came down to my knees. If I wanted to keep the skirt, I would have sized down to medium at least ( I got a large). I think you need a model like body to really be able to wear this skirt."
