I purchased this dress because it's very different and I've never seen anyone with it. I wore it on a cruise recently and turned heads everywhere I went. I rocked it!! I work a pair of black gladiator sandals with it. The dress fits me perfectly. Its long and comes about 2 inches from my ankles. I absolutely love it. Cant wait until it gets warm, so I can wear it again.

To make it short and sweet, I love this dress, ofcourse it is not made for a ballroom bash but for someone like me who does not like over dressing , yet hates to be under dressed this dress is perfect. The material is not shabby but more organic, I am a bustier gal and I purchased the size four and it fits like a Jem almost as if it were made for me to wear. The built in corset is a plus and although I am a size d I feel perfectly comfortable not wear a strapless bra. So I say hooray for this little jem!

I love this dress. I orded the dress in a 12, and it fit perfectly. The fabric looked a little odd a first, but it is nice once you iron it. Fit wise, this dress is EXTREMELY FLATTERINTG because it smooths out the waist and flares gracefully from the hip. The hem is lovely and fluttery. It looks really cute with a sweater undernath and clogs. Also, i thought the belt was a really cute contrast.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by katieh I was so sure I would love it... but no.
I saw this dress and wanted it instantly. I love the gypsy/ bohemian look, but this did not work. The fabric was thin and lack luster. I liked the ruffled hem, but that was about it. I thought it would look like a gypsy princess dress, but I felt more like a peasant with all the patch work. I put a leather belt over the macrame because it looks very odd with the dress. Fit wise, it ran a little big on me, but I am between sizes anyway. I would completely suggest trying this on before buying.

I guess I just have different tastes from previous reviewer...after ironing it out, it was a unique piece. The front ruffles fall nicely, showing layers of black netting underneath, the color is different from all the black and pink and etc going on now, and the brick red belt was interesting, like Macrame, if you like macrame (yesss, the 70's- okay, add your own belt) . I gave it 4 stars due to the stitching of the shoulder sash along the bust...a bit off. I am thinking of redoing it myself, but my boyfriend says he doesn't notice anything. It isn't horribly dressy, but can be. I intend to wear it with long black lace up flat suede boots and motorcycle jacket.(fancy,eh?) I think it is a great casual/fancy dress. I don't think it is Stevie Nicks gone bad...it is Stevie Nicks gone to Indonesia. Maybe I just happened to get one that was sewn correctly. Boy, I got a tunic and it arrived with a stain on the front and was labeled XS, but looked like an XL..I am not kidding. And it looked like it was sewn by someone with sight problems. I could not believe it....Return Time, folks...
But the Festival Dress I received is fantastic. Unique, TTS (XS,5'4", 32A, 98 lbs) I think it is funky in an ethnic way. Not gypsy/Victorian like Nicks...just my opinion. Funky East Asian...a nice change from the vintage look...

I'm returning this dress. The material is cheap, so the dress looks really tacky. The crochet belt is really just so out of place with the entire look, it's absurd. It's like an ethnic Stevie Nicks outfit gone very bad!
