"This tunic is super cute, however much, much poofier than shown on the model. I don't know why they would make it so excessively poofy. The idea is cute, the execution doesn't work unfortunately. I'm going to keep it though, i already tried washing it to shrink up a bit."

"this looks so cute online, but what a disaster in person! i bought it in navy in my usual xs and this thing is a tent! i knew immediately when i took it out of the bag it wouldn't fit. the style is cute but it is so boxy and unflattering on me. i would suggest sizing down at least one on this. and if you are petite, just skip it."

"i know all the reviews are saying the same thing but just let me reinforce the fact that this tunic is extremely huge! unfortunately i am a true XS and didn't have the option of sizing down. i think even if you're usually a size large you could pull off a small. i'm going to try to make it work with a jacket over it because by itself it looks ridiculous. it's a shame though because it's such an adorable piece"

"i was really excited to find this on sale. i just got it in the mail today and when i tried it on, i was so sad. it is honestly one of the most unflattering things i've put on my body. i sized down to a small when i am normally a medium or large. the slip was nice, but the tunic itself just wasn't working on me. it is a quality piece of clothing though, props to those who can pull it off!"

"I ordered this in a S, sizing down per other reviews. Although this garment came in plastic marked "S," both the slip and the blouse were XS. The slip is very snug, and barely fits, but it doesn't really show under the tunic. The blouse, however, fit me perfectly! Since when is an XS = to an 8? Despite the conundrum, the tunic looks beautiful, and the length is perfect. I love the pearl color, though I would describe it as a pale beigy pink. And yes, this is definitely "blousy." I recommend a belt, but I love all the fabric."

"I ordered this tunic in the pinkish color and absolutely adore it! I will say that it fits a bit funny, but it is because of the slip. Even though the slip has beautiful detailing on the bottom, if you take the slip out and put it with a body con slip (one that is really tight and a dark colored so you can see the outline of your body through the tunic) it looks perfect! I got it at the sale price which makes it even better! :)"

"I loved the steel blue and the slip was adorable. But all the material sagged over the cinched waist. Free people should make a new version - one that fits like the model's - because it's a cute idea."
