"I wear this mostly as a dress. Looks super cute and ballerina-y with another slip underneath it. however, it adds a girly edge worn under a dress, top, or skirt. My favorite way to wear this is as a sexy loungewear piece, but it is amazingly versatile and can be worn as anything! My only complaint is that the top part stretches a bit as it's worn, but I do not remove any stars because the material is so wonderfully soft that the stretchiness doesn't bother me."
"ahh i know this piece has been around for a while but i just purchased it an i love it!!! its soo great im 5'2 103lbs and i wear this as a dress or shirt, i can wear this under some over-sized shirts and it just looks fantastic! must buy! if you can find it."
"This is a very gorgeous piece, something that I have been trying to find for YEARS, and the ruffles are absolutely lovely peeking out beneath a skirt, slip or just layered on top of leggings & an oversized tee as on the model. However, the waistband stretches enormously...I have worn this only twice now, and both times it has literally fallen off of my body after a few hours of wearing it (fortunately, I was wearing a long enough dress & was not out in public when it happened!) Perhaps it runs big, I am normally a M (5' 7", 130lbs w/hourglass-y kinda figure) and it seems to fit fine after washing but mine stretches in the waist after a while. I will be hemming it in the waist before wearing it next time. Otherwise, totally worth it - but if you have a smaller waist compared to your hips, beware of the slippage & test it out at home before wearing in public!!!"
"As everyone else has said, this is a beautiful slip. The lace details look so nice peeking out beneath a dress/skirt, and even alone over leggings. However, you really should make sure to wear a long slip or leggings/tights underneath!! I made the mistake of wearing it on a warm day with a mini nude slip, but the band at the top is prone to slipping& shifting with a lot of walking, and it definitely verged on inappropriate! Since then, I'll always make sure to cover up enough when wearing it. A wonderful buy!"
"I received this in the champagne colour in xs. It is lovely, durable, adaptable to many different outfits. If you want to wear it higher around your waist, I suggest sizing down. It is a slip, so it is a bit sheer, I wouldn't suggest trying to wear it on its own without something underneath or over top. I recommend wearing it underneath dresses and skirts. I love the varying length and the pleats, which make it very unique!"
"I really liked it, it's very pretty. I just couldn't see what in my wardrobe would work with it in a way I was comfortable wearing it. Now I'm still thinking about it and things that might look good with it. Like the other reviewer's I think leggings and a tunic could be really pretty with it. I'll probably end up ordering it again and keeping it."
"I have so many slips from Free people, they just get better and better. Others have said how beautiful it is, all i can add is that you have to be careful when wearing this as a skirt on top, i think the bandage part is too small to be flattering, this looks better as a top or as an under layer peeking out of whatever."
