I'm quite disappointed in these boots. They are very cute, but quite difficult to wear,which is, of course, a deal-breaker. They are uncomfortable; there is no cushion in the sole, and the way the ankle is designed (it's open, so your ankle slips all over the place making me think i'm going to sprain my ankle), and the sole is slick and slippery. I wear a lot of different styles of shoes, don't shy away from heels, and love boots and these are just not going to cut it. I just hope I can return them on time because within 30 days is a poor return policy- it deters me from ordering from free people again. These are just definitely not worth what is being charged for them, even the sale price, which is really not a great sale anyway.

I loved these boots so much that I overlooked several initial flaws and decided to keep them. They are very narrow and therefore pretty painful to wear for any length of time. There is also no cushioning on the sole. However, after wearing them only twice the strap that wraps around one of the shoes broke. I'm extremely disappointed. For the price, even on sale, I would have expected these to last longer than 2 wears. Pretty disgusted.

I've been looking for a boot like this for a while and I'm happy I ordered these. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 so I order them in a 38 and they are a bit loose but I plan to wear them with thick socks. The heel hight is perfect, very easy comfortable to walk in. The suede is really nice quality and is a softer black than it appears, which I like. The heel looks a bit cheap though but small detail. Very versatile, look great with skinny jeans, tights, or boot cut jeans over.
