I saw these great boots and loved the fringe and the look. Once I tried the boots on they were very snug to true size and I would recommend to go up a half size or whole size if you have a wide foot. I do not have a wide foot and found these boots difficult to put on in my normal size 9.5. I am sending them back. The color is not brown- they are gray. The shaft of the boot was just to mid calf on me and I am 5'9". If you are 5'4" or so they may be as tall as depictited. Good quality boots and nice leather though.

I tried the reddish color in a 10 and they were very cute! The suede is soft and comfortable, and the color is just fantastic. These fit TTS, but they were a little snug in the calf when I tried to pull them all the way up, instead of slouched. The fringe is fun and attached very well. Beautiful boots!

I heard it's a bit toe tight, normally i wear 9.5, but i won't be able to return it coz I'm' in Hong Kong, so i ordered 10 just in case. I didn't find the problems the reviewers said before. I love the slouchy, if I wear leggings i still can pull it up. I almost wear it every day. It does have some color difference from the picture, but the Grey is still fine for me, I don't have this color of boot yet. And i love the suede makes it look more vintage.

First of all, I ordered these beautifully styled boots in grey, hoping that they would be a classic, neutral, dolphin-like color. When they arrived, I was disappointed to learn that they are more of a taupe-grey; light brown-based in tone. This changed my whole idea for blending them into my wardrobe, but after searching my closet, I did find many other options for coordination, so I accepted the color-shift. Then I tried them on. I had ordered my usual 9 medium that has fit forever-perfectly in Jeffrey Campbell boots, but these - although true to length - were very loose in heel width and very tight across the toe box. I tried slipping in several different types of foam cushions and orthotic inserts, but nothing rectified the sizing imbalance. It's sad. I love these boots . . . just the right height - mid-thigh on my 5'9' frame; just the perfect amount of ruching both front and back; just enough fringe on the outer seams to be interesting without being cumbersome. I'm so disappointed that I had to return them with no options for exchange.
