Biscayne Boulevard Buttondown
Wish I had the red
I initially wanted the red shirt, but it has been sold out in my size, so I settled for the blue (which I also loved via the pics) I really love the fit of the shirt. It's over-sized, but cut in a modern, flattering way & the sheerness makes it look feminine rather than bulky. My only problem is that the blue color is MUCH lighter than what looks pictured here. It's not a royal blue, but a soft true-blue. The flowers are also pretty pastel yellow and pink & the look is just a bit too hawaiian vacation for me. Unfortunately I think I'll be sending this back and hoping the red comes back in stock! One other note is that although there are tabs to hold the sleeves up, they won't stay unless rolled really tightly up the arm or you sew it yourself because the fabric is extremely loose & filmy.
o my im in love. i got the blue blouse it is meant to be flowy and loose so if you want it tighter size down. it is well made however i did have a button break so def keep the extra that comes with it because i cant find mine and i had to get creative. this is perfect as a cover up but light enough to wear as a reg top all summer long. very happy with my purchase!
Comfortable Vacation Blouse
I'm going to Maui in a few months and wanted this Hawaiian looking top for my trip. I went to go try it on in a local FP shop and found it vibrant, soft/comfortable, and flattering. I chose the red color, which is pretty close in color to how it's pictured online. This is a traditional buttoned up collared blouse--it's long, and does not come tied up as pictured. You can easily leave a few of the bottom buttons undone to re-create the look pictured. I did it in the dressing room and found it cute tied up and let down. Very versatile. It's also super soft which is nice. It's also just as sheer as pictured. The blue is slightly more opaque, but I still preferred the red. As for sizing, you could say it runs large, but it's true to FP sizing (which I think runs a tad bigger). I tried a S and XS--they both fit, but I preferred the slightly more loose look and went with the S. For reference, I am 5'3", 36C and a lean 140lbs.
