Rated 4 out of 5 by Runs long in the back but I trimmed mine When I read in other reviews that the back was way long, I didn't really think that the issue would apply to me. I am 5' 7.5", 132 lbs, and I ordered a small. When I finally got it and tried it on with 1-2 inch boots, the train was dragging on the ground pretty bad. Since the hem was unfinished, I really loved the skirt, and it was just not practical to have so much of the "wedge" dragging on the ground, I decided to trim it myself. I spreaded the train portion of the skirt on the dinner table and trimmed 2 inches off the very back and gradually tapered it back up approaching the first set of seams going in either direction ( of the wedge). It now fits and I love love love it! With the way it flows, it is impossible to see the part I altered myself. 1.8.2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfy and Cute The skirt runs pretty true to size - I'm 5'9" and 135 lbs and a small fits great, the length is perfect. I was hoping the material would be a little heavier so it would drape better, but instead it's more of a t-shirt material. it hangs nicely, though, and is cute and comfortable. looks great with a loose crop top! the one downside is that mine has a weird pucker on the front, i'm going to see if it irons out before exchanging it for another. 10.14.2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fit is like Olive Pic, not Black Overall, this is a good skirt. It is very comfortable, and the length isn't overwhelming - although at 5'2" I found it to be just a hair too long in the back. Online, I didn't like the look of the olive skirt, but I did the charcoal version. For whatever reason, the charcoal looked like it had more movement, and made the skirt appear more light and airy. I knew one of the two pictures had to be an accurate depiction of the fit, and because of the Dec catalog image (first pic of charcoal) I thought maybe the charcoal pics were accurate. NOPE! The olive pics are. If you like the more straight and less flowy look of the olive, grab this up! The skirt is nice and has a bit of edge. If you do NOT like the look of the olive skirt, don't get this. If you don't think they look different except for color, then you will probably like the skirt too. FIT: I'd say this one is true to size. It does hug a bit at the hips, so if you are wide in the hip area, you might consider sizing up. If you are short and narrow in the hips, you might consider sizing down to cut some of the length. Someone of average build (for their size) should go with their usual size. Again, very cozy, and a bit edgy, just not what I was looking for. Overall recommended though. 12.9.2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Makes me feel romantic This skirt makes me feel very romantic. In fact the first day I wore it several strangers (men included) told me how lovely I looked. It does run long but I'm tall so I'll follow a previous reviewers suggestion to trim up the train a little. Its also very comfortable and will be my go-to skirt when I want to look dressy but would have prefered to be in my sweats all day. 10.28.2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not For THIS Pear... This was soo very pretty, soft, comfy, and flowy... but unflattering on me. I know this looks amazing on girls with slimmer hips, but on me and my full hips, it was not good. I felt that it highlighted every dip and curve in an unflattering light, again this would be beautiful for slimmer hips than mine. I tried a large and the fit was nice, it just did not look nice. Too bad, this would have been a beauty. 9.20.2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by hold on tight This skirt is overpriced for the quality. It's thin and not impressive at all. 5.18.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great skirt! I bought the charcoal in extra small. It's a very fun skirt. It lays on the ground when you stand still, but flows behind you when you're walking. It looks best with sleeker/tight tops. The way the skirt flairs out, it doesn't provide as nice of a silhouette with chunky or bulky tops. 2.24.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this Maxi Skirt!!! I had been waiting for the charcoal color to become available... you just gotta keep checking online if you want this color. This skirt is A-mazing. Fabric is cozy soft, I love the train in the back, which has contrasting fabric (fabric used inside out) a very cool design element. I am 5'5" and it is a bit long in the back, heels/platforms will take are of it, but I may just trim it up a bit. Runs a little big, but not ridiculous. I can wear L or M with FP skirts and from reading the other reviews I got the M and it is perfect! 1.9.2011
