Rated 4 out of 5 by WOW! I wanted to give this a 5 star but there were some things about the fit that did not work well for me, however, this will probably be a 5 star for a taller person. Let me say though that the fabric is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! It reminds me of a vintage velvet and has that wonderful worn-in feel and look, and is so soft and feels great against the skin. I'm 5'2 and 112lbs and I ordered a Size Small. From the waist down to the beginning of the thigh it was loose on me. From that point down to the hem of the legs seemed tight but no so much that it was in danger of tearing or anything like that. Just super slim. I would exchange this for an X-Small but I'm afraid that the legs will be too tight. I realize that this is a harem pant so I took that into account. Harem pants seem to be cut in a way that it's baggy around the waist/hip area. Also, there are pockets at the sides so there is extra fabric to accommodate this. To make this look good on me, I have to pull the pants up high and will have to wear a long top to cover the waist/butt area. Because I'm short, I think I'll have to wear shoes or boots with a high heel to give me an elongated look. I'm willing to find just the right top and shoes because I just love these pants because they are so unique and I'm absolutely sure you won't find anything like it around. I think tall slim women will look great in this pant and will not have to go to all the lengths that a shorter person has to, to make it look just right. For me, this is worth it because these pants are AWESOME! I'll say it again...GORGEOUS! 11.21.2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Harem? I don't know why these are called "Harem pants". I have rather thin thighs for my waist and the pants were tight in the thighs. ???? Wonderful fabric, though. I sent the M back to exchange for an L but they were out of stock so I am waiting to reorder. Hope the L works.... 11.26.2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good and Evil I agree with the other reviewers that the fabric is very beautiful but the feel reminds me of grandma's couch, although it is soft and not itchy. I'm 5'2 and 105 lbs. and the XS was too loose at the waist for me, even with the drawstring tied. I have thin calves so no problem there. I knew that these were a risky buy with the drop waist. In my opinion the baggy diaper butt looks just awful. I know that's a "thing" right now but I'm sure it will be one of those fashions that we all regret shortly. I'd love to see FP bring these back with a legging fit instead of the diaper butt fit, then they'd be perfect! As much as I love the look of the fabric, these have to go back. Maybe I can cut up granny's curtains and make my own pair. 2.27.2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love At First Sight Stumbled upon these beauties quite unexpectedly and i couldn't NOT buy them. They're perfect and look even better in person. I don't know how to describe the fit of these pants other than PERFECT I want to wear them every day, snag em while you can ;) 1.12.2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous color Just as pictured. Deep iridescent golden color - like nothing I've ever seen before. Truly special, cool, and beautiful. These are indeed harem, due to the dropped crotch, so it's slightly baggy in rear and thighs, but they look cool that way. I tried tightening these pants up a bit but they don't look good fitted. 5'7", 27/28 waist 36 hips and the small is perfectly relaxed. Comes to ankles. FP says these are lounge pants, but it would be a crime if utilized for that purpose! Throw on a leather jacket and go conquer the day. 12.29.2013
