Rated 4 out of 5 by beading all coming off, someone must have returned I have been waiting forever for this to come back in stock and I finally ordered it. When I got it, the beading on the left side of the dress is all coming off. Missing more than half the beads. The tag was a handwritten one and ripped in half so I know someone returned it already. Free People should have done a better job at inspecting returns... I want to keep it because it may never come back into stock but not sure if I should since it is defective. Other than that, I love the look of the dress and the knit is so unusual. 6.7.2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful! I absolutely love this dress! It's so unique and pretty! The colours are beautiful, just like they are in the picture and I really love the contrasting textures of the knit top and crochet skirt. The only problem with the skirt is the thin strands getting stuck on my jewellery and being slightly pulled but it's easy to fix if you just fiddle around with it a bit. So happy with this purchase :) 4.2.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by So unique I too loved this dress when I first saw it. I am into having unique pieces in my closet and that's what I thought when I first saw this one. I am 5'4" and 98 lbs so the XS fits a litle too big, but not so big that it's noticable. I usually buy XXS to ensure a really great fit, but overall I Love this dress! 2.1.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Where is the quality control? I loved this from the moment I saw it. Tried it on and felt like a forest fairy!! Decided to keep it, took it off and discovered a hole in the back as well as the front. I could fix or take my chances with another one, but for $200 I won't. I am bummed. Such a gorgeous unique dress. 1.23.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Unique I am 5'4", 115 lbs, 34 B-C, 27" waist and purchased XS, my usual size in everything FP but bodycon dresses (which I rarely buy but go with a S when I do). It fit great. It was not too tight anywhere and had just a bit of room at the waist to keep it flowy. I'd say it mostly fits as pictured. I really love the fabric. I am particularly keen to textured material and this dress offers plenty of texture. It is a light knit. Not too heavy but enough material and weight that I probably won't wear it in the summer (I live in a dessert climate) but it will be great in the spring. It fell a little longer on me than on the model, probably by about two inches (my body type is pretty average, not too long in the torso or legs, etc). It comes with a removable cream coloured full slip and as noted in the description, the bottom portion has an additional two layers under the aqua-ish knit, a layer of white tulle and another layer of the same aqua knit underneath the tulle. I think this an interesting and unique dress and really like it. The aqua is slightly richer in person. The description notes beading at the neckline which is hard to make out in the photos but it is there and more obvious in person. The one negative comment I have is that the tulle layer lies a bit awkward. It extends out a bit longer than in the photo and it is a stiff, straight hemline all the way around which pairs a little oddly with the hemline of the knit layer, which is shorter on the sides and more flowing. I felt it stuck out a bit too much and may cut it back so it just peeks out from underneath the knit more like in the photo. Aside from that, I think this is a nice dress and something different to add to my closet. 1.23.2013
