Rated 5 out of 5 by Color is a bit off I don't know what I expected, maybe a tangarine orange, or a burnt bright orange, but the color is much creamier ( if that makes sense) in person. It's still really pretty and the texture of the pants is to DIE FOR. So soft, I don't even know if it can be called corduroy! The sizing is perfect too. Usually I need to size up to fit my thighs but my waist gaps and I need to take it in at the tailor's with FP pants but these fit like a glove. for sizing, waist: 26" hips 39" height: 5'9" I got the size 30. because of my height they didn't scrunch like in the photo but they did hit about half an inch below the ankle so they were the right length, thankfully! Can't wait to show these off in fall 8.5.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the color! This is probably my 4th or 5th pair of Free People cords. I love them. They're super soft, and the color is eye popping. My only complaint is that FP's sizing on these is so inconsistent. I've bought several pairs of the cords over the years, and each time my size fits me differently. Sometimes my size is too tight, other times it's just right, and I have not gained any weight. These are a bit tight, but I believe they will stretch out as others have in the past. Overall, I love the FP cords. They're durable, fashionable, and comfortable. 10.18.2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not just for models These cords are hands-down the best I've ever owned. Thanks to the survivable pricetag I keep buying them in new colors, and I'm never disappointed. They are soft like jeggings, but modest enough to be worn like jeans. My favorite feature is the waistline cut--stretchy enough to comfortably forgive an imperfect belly, yet not prone to refrigerator-man droppage thanks to higher tailoring in back. They're really the only skinny pants I own that stay up on their own without being uncomfortably tight in the waist. When I was a 7/8 I got a 30 and they were flattering to my gangly legs; and now that I'm a 9/10 the 31 works and is flattering to my not-quite-so-youthful pudge. I hope they keep making these forever. 8.27.2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Overpriced The shoddy workmanship on these cords is disappointing. The black is faded with purple tones. In my pair, size 26, the seams are a little wonky and the fit is small at the waistband compared to my other Freepeople cords and jeans. These fit like a 25. (My measurements are waist 26, hips 34) I might be satisfied with these if I had paid $30-$40 for them, but unless they go on sale I can't recommend them. 3.11.2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Snug But has a Stretch Im 5'7", 125 lbs, I bought the 26 and the were a bit tight, like when I sat down, the horizontal lines that form across your thigh in the pant, when something is to tight, were there. So I took that sign, returned them got the 27 and now Im a happy bunny. Has the skinny fit with out the screaming " Im wearing tight white pant" feel. 2.22.2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Go-To Pants I love these pants! I first bought FP skinny cords maybe four years ago in my usual size 25. The legs were snug, but the waist was very loose. For my next purchase, I sized down to the 24. It took some wiggling to get them on the first few times, but it was the right call. Now (after more than a year of consistent wear) they are holding up great, with no patchy wear, and are super comfortable. I'm 4'10", so the pants are about 6" too long on me, but I just cuff them up and wear them with boots. I'll probably buy myself another pair in a new color next fall :). FP, keep making these forever! The only improvement would be to add a "short" inseam! 1.29.2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by black cords I had high hopes for these trousers. After waiting really long time for delivery to arrive, I put them on immediately and they seemed to fit well. One day later, they became loose and out of shape so much that they looked at least a size too big on me. Definitely not worth money I paid for them. Sorry. 12.7.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wardrobe staple! I owned these chords years ago when I was in high school, and have recently reinvested in a black pair. Fit just as I remember, and are the perfect pair of straight-leg chords. I ordered my normal size 26 and they are roomy, but not baggy through the legs. Very comfortable and classic. 12.4.2013
