I had been coveting these pants forever and I finally broke down and ordered them; they fit great and they're comfortable and lovely. However, when they came in the mail, they were wrinkled so badly I almost sent them back. I spent a half hr ironing them before they were wearable, freaking out thinking I was going to ruin them. Kind of disappointed in Free People because of this, the price of these pants should warrant a higher quality product. Save yourself the trouble and buy them in store.

I'm a curvy US6/UK10 and 5'7". I ordered the size 28 and they fit real snug but weren't at all uncomfortable. They were also the perfect length. I reckon if I'd bought a size 29 I would have had to cut them about an inch on the end. They do have a bit of stretch in them which is great, and they fit very snug on the thighs then flare out dramatically. If you're looking for a gradual flare, this isn't for you.
I love them and the mulberry is pretty much exactly what it looks like in the photo.

If you have an actual booty, it will find no home in these cords. On the other hand if you like the flat look, snatch these up!

As soon as I saw the pictures, I knew I needed to
have both the mulberry and the midnight. Yes, they're very long, but I had the tailor cut them, & they are amazing! The fit is great, the colors are great, They look amazing on. So flattering. yes, they are very light weight for a cord, but who cares, they're a 'must-have'!!!
FYI , I'm 5'4' 115 bought size 27

I love these cords! I am 5'8 and curvy and got a size 31 and they fit snugly. I got them in Ochre which is more dirty yellow/golden than the picture provided. I can't wait to wear these out and during the spring/summer festival season!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by eliz1967 I like these because...
I am 5'2", 101 lbs. The size 25 is very snug and the 26's, too big. By too big I do not mean falling off big, but there certainly was a good inch and half beyond my waist line. Also, they were quite loose around the seat of the pants. The 25's on the other hand are quite snug and I mean "don't gain a single pound snug." One thing I give these credit for is that they make my rear end look bigger than it is. I don't have much back there so these are quite miraculous in that department.
I opted for the 25's.
I have these in red and in the dark blue. The reds are more of a dark wine pink. They are not dark red. The dark blue looks like what is online. I might get the steel ones too.
They are VERY long. I was afraid to cut them because I was sure I'd lose the flare. I chopped two and a half inches off the bottom. I sized these for two inch heels. The trick to getting that cool fringe back is this: get a stiff wire brush and brush in downward strokes in the direction of the lines in the corduroy. You will have to look closely as the direction changes because of the flare. You'll need scissors to cut away the excess threads that get removed.
I have worn the red ones twice and received compliments from strangers both times.
Being that they give me a rear end, that they are comfy, that I like them and people I don't know think they're cool, I give them a 5 star rating!

I bought two pairs of these, one burgendy and one evergreen. They fit nice, are comfortable and the flare is really fun without being too much. I was hoping the corduroy would be a bit thicker as I have cords like this that went thread-bare sooner than I would have liked.
I'm 5'8", 160 lbs (pear shaped) and the 31's fit me perfectly with a little room to spare if that helps.
