Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Cool! I just received these sandals today and I am very pleased with the fit and style. I bought the Aztec and very glad that I did. The colors are very beautiful and looks like it will go with many things as the colors are vibrant yet muted. I ordered a 6 1/2 which is my size and it fits perfectly. I was hesitant in ordering my true size as with JC I have better luck ordering 1/2 size larger. Not so with these sandals. They seem to run exactly true to size. My legs are skinny but not extremely yet the straps fit me loosely like the model's. I wasn't sure they would be but they are very comfortable to walk in. I'm only disappointed that I bought this now in the Fall. I probably won't be able to wear them too much longer but look forward to wearing them a lot next Spring and Summer. I recommend these sandals highly! 9.27.2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by fabulous sandals! i love these! i debated on getting them for a while and finally bit the bullet and did. my daughter loves jeffrey campbell and encouraged me to try him out. glad i did! i am a 7.5 in almost all my shoes so that's what i ordered in the aztec print. i did read lots of other reviews warning that they fit a bit snug, but they fit me perfect. but i don't have wide feet so i think that makes a difference. they are totally unique and quite eye catching! part of the reason i love free people is you can dress like your personality....and mine is carefree and sometimes nontraditional. i wear them with anything that lets them be seen. i loved them so much i just ordered the brown leather ones. i am looking forward to getting them as they are leather and not material. same sandal, different look. totally recommend these!! 2.6.2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by sad but true I loved everything about these sandals until I wore them. They were too tight around my calf, which I could have lived with, but they broke after just one day walking the streets of Paris! The zipper pull broke and it took two people to unzip the sandal, which I was close to cutting off with scissors or a knife. Très mauvais FreePeople!!! I expect more from a $160 sandal!!! 8.27.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by fave sandal ever! i'm a size 8 with very skinny legs. i adjusted every strap to the tightest possible and they still slouch a ton...which i think is part of their charm. The zipper up the back spirals around to the outisde of my calves within a couple steps. It's pointless to adjust it (this is why i rated four out of five stars#. I just let it be and rock the heck out of these sandals anyways! I've never received more comments from people absolutely loving them #including men!) and asking where I got them. Bravo FP! 8.8.2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wah :( I loved these sandals the minute I saw them. I ordered a 6.5 which is the size I am but the leg openings were way too tight. I do not have thick legs at all but I do have muscle. The straps that are adjustable fit perfect but the straps without were the ones that were too tight. If they had a little bit of elastic to them they would have been fine. I have had to send mine back and since I am not in the US I couldn't exchange for another size. I will not be purchasing another pair as I wanted the Aztec design and there are no more. Sad sad day :( I suggest to anyone who have some muscle in their legs to order a half size larger. 3.15.2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by TTS and beautiful Having large feet (size 10) and average sized legs, these fit TTS for me. They have the slouchy look, as in the photo, so I'm glad I didn't size up. The tribal print is BEAUTIFUL. These are show-stoppers. Recommend. 3.1.2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good and Bad What can i say, I love this Sandal. I got both styles. First I got the "suede" romana fest sandal but when i recieved it in the mail it was nothing like the picture so thats why i am giving it 3 stars. It was extremely disapointing. So If you are ordering the brown, you will get leather not suede. Now the tribal sandals are awesome. I absolutely love them and I would give them 5 stars but unfortunately I can only rate one. You can wear them with almost everything. The colors go with so much. They are true to size and very comfortable. I think they actually look better on me than on the model. I have very nice athletic legs. The model has very skinny legs and they look very loose on her. So if you think you have very defined and nice legs then they will surely look better on you too. 6.23.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING but narrow I am IN LOVE with these sandals! I ordered them the second they hit the site, and since they arrived, I haven't taken them off. The tribal are exactly as pictured. (Although I think the suede is actually leather.) With regard to sizing, these are quite narrow, particularly for sandals. With JC shoes, I always size up from a 6 to a 7.5 because of the width of my foot, but thought that since these were sandals, I'd be fine with a 7. Not the case. My pinky toe fits under the first strap at the toe of the shoe, but the shoe is too narrow for it to fit under the last strap at the toe. (I didn't see any point in sizing up though because going from a 6 to a 7 meant the shoe is quite long, if I'd sized up any more, my pinky toe might not have fit inside any of the toe straps.) Long story short, if you have wide feet, make the necessary adjustments. A note on the straps, they weren't as "saggy" on me, although they do slouch some. The issue is I run and my calves have more muscle than the model. Depending on the size of your calves, you will get a varying amount of slouch. Some of the straps are adjustable, but only 2 of every 3, so that doesn't make much of a difference. 6.22.2011
