I bought the tea version of this dress, and it's definitely a cream color (the usual cream/ivory color from FP). It's TTS and I didn't have any medieval sleeve problems with it. My only concerns are that it reads pretty young with the length/underskirt (which probably isn't an issue for most of you!), and the skirt is the same material as the daisy dress FP has had for a long time (and which I have in the same color). So debating whether to keep this or return it for the black, as the black looks great on everyone!

This dress is so pretty! The photos do not do this dress justice. I ordered this dress as soon as I saw it and am not at all disappointed!
The color is more ivory than white. The lace is gorgeous! The back is totally see through so you can't wear a bra. The dress is lined so the rest of it isn't too see through. Just be sure to wear this with nude panties and pasties.
If you are even thinking about ordering this dress, get it! Now!

This is a less fancy/more practical version of the V for Victorian Velvet dress, so if you wanted that piece but had nowhere to wear it, here's the alternative. Fit-wise I'm 105 lbs and the sz 0 fits well so I'd say it runs TTS. The skirt is made of good quality material, the top is definitely delicate. The shoulders do flare out in a weird way and the dress makes me look like I live in the middle ages, so I've decided it's not for me. But if this is your style and you can pull it off, definitely go for it! I'd recommend the black version over the white though.

this dress is beautifully made, and if it fit well it would be worth every penny. i am 5 feet tall and thin and curvy with 32dds. i ordered the size 0. it fits sizewise, but is very unflattering. i was so excited for this dress and planned to wear it for graduation but looks like it's back to the drawing board... i got this dress in white, and while i have heard excellent things about it in black, i cannot say the same for its white counterpart. the sleeves are awkwardly wide and make me look like an old lady from the victorian era. the height of the waist and where it fans out make me look much heavier than i am, and something about it made my boobs look weirdly saggy. this MIGHT work for smaller chested girls than i. i really wanted to love this.the detailing is beautiful and it feels like it would last a while, but unfortunately, it is definitely going back.

This dress is really gorgeous. The shape is immensely flattering, and the lace is so much more beautiful in person. I got this in the plum combo, and it is much more purple than it looks in the photo! In addition, the skirt puffs out more than it appears to in the photo. It's actually quite a voluminous flared skirt, which the picture doesn't quite show.
I'm 5'8, 125 pounds, 34B, usually a size 2 in Free People. I got the 2 and it fits perfectly. The only problem is you can't wear a bra with this dress - it just looks awful. But if you're good without the bra, I'd definitely recommend it. Keeping this one for sure!

I bought this dress to attend my friend's wedding. The "plum" color is a beautiful bluey-purple, the neck line and details are classy, elegant, sophisticated, and well done. The material isn't cheap and the construction is good, i can see this dress standing the test of time. The open back and the short hemline add the perfect punch of youth into this victorian-reminiscent number. absolutely absolutely LOVE.

I ordered this in the black after loving the long-sleeved version with a velvet skirt in white and cream that was out last winter. It really is just the prettiest cut and with the black color, I can actually get away with wearing a low-backed mesh-back bra with is really nice for me - at a 32DD, the ability to have some support is great! Just a lovely dress all around.

This is a beauty. Tried on the ivory dress in the store on a whim and it fit (size 8, medium) Bra friendly (to camouflage a nude or cream colored bra) low back, okay for curvy girls, fit and flare skirt is feminine and romantic with lace hem. Doesn't wrinkle ( I have this one folded on the shelf due to space issues!) Recommended for a casual day, a wedding, a date nightâ¦very pretty.
