Rated 4 out of 5 by Neon Red Generally, I do really like this slip, but I have a couple of things to mention about it: first, it's very loose in the waist which makes it less flattering than it could be. (I'm 5"5, 120lbs, and I ordered the xs.) Although the length is great, I think it might be worth investigating the size down if you have room to go. Second: I have to disagree with the other reviewer who said the neon red is not orange-y but pinkish; it really does look sort of orange-y to me. The colour is still pretty beautiful though, so I'm not put off, but I would have loved if this had been a slightly truer red. Other than that, this slip is dynamite; I love love love the uneven hem with all the lacy details, I love that the straps are adjustable (!!!), and I love the total versatility of this piece; I've worn it so many ways since I've gotten it — underneath things and on top — and it always seems to work. It has kind of racer-back straps, so sometimes the layering can be a little messy, but overall, not a big deal. All in all, this thing can really can turns heads, and for the price, it's definitely worth it! 1.7.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Gorgeous...I bought two of them! I am in love with this slip. It is so easy to layer with and it's just an extremely versatile piece. I got a size small (5'6, 130 lbs) in both the champagne color (white with pale pink lace) and black. I love wearing it layered underneath my Front and Center Pullover. The small is long enough for me to wear it as a little mini dress, but I prefer it paired with tights/leggings and a leather jacket. The versatility of this slip reminds me of the Chiffon Tiered Slip except it can be worn a little more casually and it is not as long as the Chiffon/Tiered. I really love it and will be layering it all fall/winter! Five stars! 11.24.2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful! I ordered it in black and I love it! I wear it underneath the Voile and Lace Trapeze slip and it adds the perfect body to the hem of the dress. I was afraid I wouldn't like the details but it is actually quite beautiful and subtle. I love the bottom because it adds the perfect girly flare! I ordered a medium and it's a little big but I think that's the way it should be worn. I wish it came in white! 4.6.2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Luckily I tried this on first.. Tried this in a Small but it was huge on me! I am 5'3 34D 25" waist 33" hips. It was very low cut and kind of long and boxy on me. Perhaps it was a defective Small, the Mango color is gorgeous.. just didn't fit right for me. 7.2.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by mango =) i received this in the mail a few days ago and was hesitant about it since there were some reviews that discussed the bust being too tight (i'm a 36DD) and the tummy area being too "snug" and "unflattering". for reference i'm usually between a size 8 and 10 (12 in dresses because of my bust) and bounce between a M and a L. i grabbed the large in this slip and IT FIT WONDERFULLY! the bust was NOT tight at all and adjusting the straps to make the neckline higher or lower didn't change the fit. the bodace of the slip is somewhat loose, it is not fitted-- which is a huge PLUS! it fits like the model. i picked up the mango color and it IS NOT see through and is wonderful for layering oversized tees, off the shoulder tops, and vests, blazers, or cardigans overtop. it is long enough to wear as a dress (i'm 5'6"). the color is AMAZING and really brings out the color in your skin-- it matches with EVERYTHING and is a beautiful contrast. if you're hesitating to pick one of these up, DON'T! grab it! you won't regret it! this is one of my FAVORITE purchases!! 6.4.2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sizing Insanity! First let me say that I adore this cute slip! The embroidery and lace panels make it look really cute poking out from under tunics, shorter/sheer dresses and such. I love the two colors I own (grapefruit and mango.) This is not a fitted slip. It is smaller at the bust than anywhere else (which is opposite to my body type) and is very voluminous through the waist. I do have quite the history with sizing/colors! When this slip first appeared online I could not decide between the watermelon or the champagne (which was portrayed as an ivory at the time). Next, I needed sizing guidance. I was informed by FP that the bust on a M was 35" and the bust on a L 37". Since I am 38" (36C bra), I purchased the L and hoped it would fit. When it arrived, not only was it a pale pink, but it was HUGE. The bust was 44"! So, back it went. I decided I must be a M. Since the website was sold out of M watermelon, I called a store. Just to be sure, I asked the lovely fp store gal to measure the bust for me. Ahhh! It was 35"! Luckily she also had a L in stock, which had a 38" bust. That is 6" different than the L I purchased in champagne! Fast Forward. I was so excited when I saw the new gorgeous mango color, I ordered it immediately. I had absolutely no idea what size to order, but since L worked in the watermelon, I went with it. WRONG! This one had a 46" bust. Back this one went once again. I reordered it in M. The M was still too big (42" bust), but at this point I gave up and just kept it. I suppose in mango, I am a S or XS! Stop the madness FP! This is not the only item I have encountered this issue with, but it is certainly a good example. It is still a cute slip! LOL 1.17.2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disagree with the Masses I don't know how this slip got so many good reviews. I did not like it one bit. It was incredibly loose and absolutely shapeless. I was so appalled by the fit that I couldn't even pay proper attention to the details, but see other reviews for that information. The chest area was large enough for my 30DD chest in the front, but not at all on the sides. I played with the seams a little too and I feel like from underarm to underarm, the width of the chest area would not be sufficient for most girls. Aside from the fit, the fabric was okay. It wasn't terrible and felt good to the touch, but it wasn't too special either. I just do not see what all the hype is about. 11.30.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Your layering collection needs this! This is my go to layering piece that gives what ever I'm wearing a little extra "umf"! I ordered a large in black. to make room for my "girls" (36DD), and the fit is divine! I could go on and on but its already been said. DEFINITELY will be ordering more, and HIGHLY recommend it! 10.11.2011
