"love the embroidery, open back, large sleeves, and pewter color. looks good over a seamless slip. my only issue is that the button loops must be fragile because several were unstitched when mine arrived. I did order it from a store since they were out of stock online, so maybe it was just tried on too many times. still a keeper, though, just need to fix it."

"I was hesitant until it became on sale, mostly because it seemed impractical due to the bell sleeves. Glad I bought it. It's most beautiful. Very vintage looking. The color is way off in the photos. It's more of a fawn brown, that's a medium brown with a golden hue. I don't mind this color, it give the garment an antique feel. A hand-me-down from grandma. It is difficult to button the back by yourself and it is on the small side. Bought a large and fits perfectly, typically I'm a medium.

"This top interested me not one iota when I saw it on the website... I thought the trim was cheap-looking, and it all just looked silly and fussy. How wrong I was! I stumbled on this in a store in my city the other day, and I fell in love. It's insanely gorgeous! It's hard to tell from the picture, but the beading on the front is really intricate and rich looking, and totally noticeable (in a good way). It is 100% sheer, so cute undergarments are a necessity, but the back is very open (and sexy), so you'll need to choose them carefully. I don't think a normal bra would be so nice, but a sparkly bandeau might be. The button details at the bottom of the back are stunning, like the handiwork on an antique gown. Sizing; I'm 125 lbs, 32D and my usual xs was fine, although the chest was slightly tight. If you're going to go any direction, size up, but it's not really necessary unless you have a really ample bosom, haha. Anyway, if you gravitate towards the fairy-like, you will LOVE this! I certainly do!"
