I ordered the ivory version of this piece, which I love on the model. But, it doesn't have the same boho vibe in person. It's quite fitted through the shoulders, which, combined with the shiny material, makes it kind of conservative and churchy looking. I also felt that the pattern across the back/shoulders was just too prominent and out of place. I was quite disappointed with the look, so I returned it.

I got the ivory combo and the print is so pretty! I feel like this dress could easily move into the fall season as well and works with sandals and my ankle boots. I am 5'6" and 36C bust and the medium fit perfectly. This is my first FP purchase and by judging from how much I enjoy this dress I'm sure I will continue buying from FP!

I fell in love with this dress online and my mom surprised me by buying it in the black color. Normally in freepeople, I am a large, mainly because I have a larger chest and broad shoulders. The large almost fit perfectly, but was too tight in the shoulders, so I had to return it. In regards to the dress itself, the material is super light weight and does not cling to your body. This is not a see-through dress, the dress lining does its job well. The dress is well worth the money, but if you have broader shoulders and a bigger chest, then go up your normal size, unless you are a large, then unfortunately do not buy.

Seeing this dress online, I was in love. The colors and designs were all so beautiful. It looks comfy (which it is), but I was in denial about how it would fit. The model didn't look like she had a lot of curves (which I do), so I thought I might fill it out better. Sadly, it looks pretty much the same way it does on the model. It's beautiful in every way, but just not flattering. I could put a belt around the waist and it would probably make it look a lot better, but it's going back to the store for now. If it goes on sale I'll definitely get it, and maybe even try a size smaller. I'm still in love with this dress but I'll admire from afar (for now). For reference: I am 5'6", 130lbs, a size 4/6, and a 34C.

This dress is awesome! I was going to order it online, but I hesitated because of the reviews saying that it ran small in the chest (I am a 36D). I went to my local FP store and tried it on in person. I had the complete opposite experience size wise. I am usually always a medium at FP. I tried on the medium and it was cute but baggy. The small ended up fitting perfectly, even at the chest. For reference, I am a 36D. There is even still some room around the chest area. So I actually thought this dress ran a little large since I had to size down. Besides the sizing, this dress is so comfortable. The material is very soft. I highly recommend this dress to anyone considering it! If possible, you might want to try it on in person though due to the sizing.

I am 5'5", a 36B to C-ish bra, and a U.S. Large or 10/12. This dress runs small. It was too tight in the shoulders and across the chest. I wear a large in most other brands, but usually take a medium in Free People because their pieces are so oversized. Tried this one on in the large and it was too tight in the upper body area. I was surprised to read the review a few reviews down with the girl who wears a 12. The dress looks so incredibly cute on her in her photos, but I just don't see how it worked for her since she seems to be pretty close to my size. Maybe there was some inconsistency in the manufacturing? Or maybe the white runs smaller than the darker color? Anyway, I would suggest passing if you are a large with a bust that is any larger than a full B cup. Or, buy it, but don't expect to be able to drive or reach for anything. I also tried on another new piece while I was in the store, (the Fp X Viola Embroidered Top in the large), and that was also slightly too tight in the shoulders/bust/arms, yet it was baggy everywhere else. Seems like maybe some of the newer pieces are running a little smaller in the upper body area, which is a bummer because I've always appreciated that Free People's pieces are forgiving for people who have athletic or wider upper bodies like I do. I play softball and by no means have tiny arms and shoulders. However, the lower part of this dress did fit tts.

I ordered the large is this style and going by my last FP purchase I thought I would have room to move. This dress is very tight across the chest and even though is did button up it pulled across the back. So sad, was really looking forward to wearing this :-(
