I catch myself watching my favorite items daily. I plan and scheme, visualize myself in my favorite items and the next thing I know...I'm in um! Free People is the first clothing company that I find myself saving up to purchase my favorite items. These Eclipse overalls were worth the stalking! I love them. They are really comfortable and the dark grey makes them a bit edgy and alternative. I love the length. They can be rolled up a bit or left as is. I ordered the 26 because I have hips and I didn't want them to squeeze me in the lower waist hip area around the back. They stretch a bit as the day goes on and they are quite comfy. I still feel flexible and can move freely, which is very important in my clothing purchases. Functional, funky and stylish!

I've been on a hunt for overalls and have tried several pairs. These are perfect for me in size 28. I usually wear a 26/27. Let me say why because perhaps that'll help others. I was looking for a cute version of something I'd imagine gardening and going to the farmers market in. I think then the loose work great. If you want something more high fashion, like what some of these awesome chicks have posted, go smaller.
I'm in love with mine, I wear them all weekend every weekend.

Let me start by saying that I am one of those people who buys anything "skinny" a size up. I LOVE to be comfortable but I was very nervous when I read the reviews everyone left that the size up I ordered would swallow me. They are stretchy and the fabric is amazing YES they are large on me. I am a 28 or 29 and I bought a 30. They do not touch my back in the waist part but hang more like a regular loose fitting overall would but more tapered if that makes sense. I purchased the Brady wash
If you want them fitted go with your normal size or down a size.
FP you have a hit with me, please continue to make these in various colors and materials. I'll collect them all :)

I have been waiting for these F O R E V E R. I wear my corduroy overalls pretty much everyday and when i heard these were coming out i just died! I just got them in the mail and they are MASSIVE. I am ALWAYS a 24 in free people, and these are swimming on me. I have about 4 inches of give in the waist and they are SWIMMING in the legs. so sad, i wanted these more than anything. size DOWN 2 sizes at least.

I am pretty petite, I'm about 5'2" around 110lbs. I bought these in the store, and my only complaint would be that the length of the straps is a bit long. I wanted these to fit a bit larger because of the concept of having to tuck in a top, so I sized up jean wise, but that made the actual straps too long. I wanted them really bad anyway, so I decided to get them despite this. I do wear them a lot, but I often cannot and do not tuck tops into the bottom portion because I feel like it looks funny. I have opted to wear them with cropped tops only because of this. They are super cute, but I haven't found a tee that looks nice under them like in the promo photos. Also they are not as dark of a wash as shown in these non-catalog photos. The wash looks similar to the close-ups, but still even a little lighter than that.

I bought these in the Brady Wash and I love them! They are so comfy and because the back straps are so low they aren't as frumpy looking as other overalls. They have a warn in look and are super soft. I'm only 5'1 so overalls generally make me look stocky but these don't have that affect, they're great! 100% recommend!!!

I have been eyeing these overalls for the longest time. I wasn't sure whether I had the chops to take on the trend. But, I am so glad I finally gave in. I love them! They do run a bit large. I'm 5'6' 120 lbs, and I typically wear a 26 in free people, which is what I bought, and they are a bit roomy. But, I think I prefer to wear them that way. If you want a more snug fit, then I suggest going down a size. If you're on the fence, get off and buy them. You won't regret it.

A couple months ago, it finally came time to replace my all-time favorite vintage overalls that I've been wearing for years (they literally were in tatters). Sad!! Then FP came out with the perfectly faded Eclipse color in these bad boys... happy!! After debating which size to get (I'm usually a 25/26 - 100 lbs - 5'5") after reading all the reviews, I decided that the whole point of overalls is to look like you aren't trying too hard, so I went with the 26. They are definitely looser, but by no means baggy, and suit my boho/western/biker personal style better anyway. Basically the fit on me looks very similar to the model in the pic. Been pairing with sexy little crop tops, my fashion-savvy bf has been LOVING the look :) Can't wait to pair with leather and chunky sweaters as the seasons change. Seriously amazing,
