Ever since I first saw this skirt online I was in love. And when I saw it at such an amazing sale price I was so excited to order it. When it came the fit is good, I'm usually a 4, but I got a 6 because another review said it runs small, which I totally agree. Love the skirt, but the colors are totally different. In the picture the bottom color is blue, however mine is purple, and not a bluish-purple, TOTALLY purple.

The best thing about this skirt is the pattern. In person the color is more like a watercolor effect, and it's quite adorable. I actually like the colors I ended up with better than the site picture, so that's nice. The cut is fairly short, as one can tell from the model photo (mid-thigh on 5'9" me), and the buttons are functional. I think it runs at least a size too small, since I pretty reliably wear a size 6 on most things that sit at my hip, including FP, and it was somewhat snug even close to my waist where I tend to go down a size (although now that I look more closely at the model, maybe that's how high it's supposed to sit?). The worst part of this is the fabric. It's pretty rough polyester, so while it does swing pretty nicely, I'm also really glad I got it on sale and not full price. If you're a bit shorter, willing to wrestle with short skirts, or have a nice pair of booty shorts to wear under, maybe consider this skirt. The colors ARE very nice, so use that as the criterion as to whether it's worth the cheaper fabric.
