I'm saving this slip for my wedding, honestly. I am 5'2" with D cups and the XS is perfect on me. It fits perfectly on the bust and waist, like it was made for me. The length is perfect - full maxi length but without dragging on the floor at all. And it's gorgeous to boot! The beaded embroidery is absolutely stunning in person, and I love the raw fabric used on the ruffles. The only trick is finding the perfect slip to wear underneath! The Seamless Mini Slip is just a tad too high in the back to wear with this. Overall a stunning piece.

This slip is to die for. I can't say enough good things about it. As usual, it runs a bit large, like other FP pieces. However, the waistline is fitted. There is no smoking, so it doesn't stretch. There are hooks and eyes running down one side of the dress so you can get it on over your head and still have a fitted look.
Surprisingly, it's not too long. I'm 5'2, and it is just a tad to long for me in flats - not dragging, but skimming the floor - and you wouldn't want a white, delicate piece like this touching the floor or getting stepped on. It will be easy to take up a bit at the top ruffle because there is a space between the beading detail and the ruffle. Not to fear, shorties, this will work for you.
I did get a size small, knowing it might be a bit big, as I usually wear XS, because I wanted to make sure I had adequate room in the bust (32D#. The top fits well, but the empire waist could be more fitted on me, but I have a very small rib cage.
All in all, this was not a disappointment. The detailing is lovely and nothing is loose or falling off. The fit is good. The construction is robust for such a delicate piece. It's pretty flattering for being white, and it is actually white, not ivory. I would highly recommend it!
I think it would go really well with the Garbo Embellished Caplet, which I also have, and is also a steal #especially at the sale price. You could wear this to the opera with a caplet or nice cardigan, but you could also dress it down like in the 4th picture.
