I ordered one of these pillows just to see what it would look like, and it is smaller than it appears in the photos. It is just shy of 12" square if you flattened it out, and about 10" across fluffed up. The velveteen is more of a purple than a royal blue, and has a good heavy quality to it. The tight cross stitching appears to be done by hand, and there are four small clear swarovski crystals stitched in the centers of four of the stars on my Gemini pillow. A little expensive for the money, but still a cute accent piece. Wish it was just a little bit bigger!
