Rated 3 out of 5 by ... wanted these so badly ... i could taste it but when i went into my local FP to check them out i was disappointed ... i am 95% of the time a small but tried the violet (color is much more muted than the catalog photo) on in a medium & it was tight + the armholes were super tiny ... then i tried the mint on in a small & it was a little big + it fades to ivory & was just blah ... i ended up getting the solid emily slip in denim blue & it totally rocks & runs truer to size in my humble FP loyal opinion ... 3.6.2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by The inverted snow garden dress (be careful) when I first got this in the mail I noticed the ombre looks upside down compared to the snow garden dress. Truthfully I think the other dress had the ombre in correct order. The optical illusion with this one is it makes the emily slip look like a fit and flare dress (not good if you are pear or apple shaped) whereas the snow garden dress looked more sleek because of the strategically printed ombre. Compared to the emily slip, you will find a harder time matching something for under it. Forget about the first artistic picture, I think fp increases the contrast for these pictures. I would say the second picture is more accurate. Even though the model is pretty, the dress is not exactly doing wonders for her (and she is beautiful). 3.3.2013
