I bought this dress in both colors for a rustic wedding that I had to go to a few weekends ago. The plan was to return whichever color I didn't wear, but I have decided to keep both because I love this dress so much. Both colors look fantastic in person and the dress is light enough for the summer, but could easily be layered with tights and a sweater for the fall. It looks great with boots, which is how I wore it to the wedding (which was on a farm). The hemline is really the star of the dress. I am on the small side up top, but have more athletic (thick) legs, so I tend not to wear short dresses. This dress let me show a little leg without my legs being the most overt aspect the look, which was a nice change for me. I didn't feel self-conscious about showing my legs at all. I would say that it runs true to size. I bought my usual small and it fit just right. And the price point of the dress is a really good selling point and partially why I don't feel guilty about keeping both colors. Overall, this dress is a great. Buy it now.

Love, love, love this dress..the quintessential summer go-to piece......I'm only sorry it doesn't come in more color ways (hint, hint Free People designers)

I ordered the ocean, size L and it fits well. Am 5' 8" tall, 180 lbs with a 38D bust and athletic build. Material is light, stretchy and the colour is vibrant even though its "heathered". If you're a tall, curvy gal with a large bust go for it.

I'm 5'11" with a 34" bust and curvy 38" hips, and the small fits me perfectly! Honestly, this dress looks on me exactly the way it looks on the model in the photo. I'm so happy with it!
The only downside is that the skirt liner is VERY short -- it barely covers my butt!
There's no lining in the top part of the dress, but it looks fine with a skin-colored bra or a small cami underneath.
The skirt is SO flowy and full; I really love it!

I realize there are so many reviews raving about this dress I probably don't need to write one, but I just have to! I am extremely petite (5'0 95lbs) and have trouble fitting into FP dresses but this one fit me like a glove! The drawstring waist is seriously amazing because it makes the dress fit PERFECTLY. Even the straps didn't fall down at all. The skirt is flowy and moves beautifully. The material is soft and durable. It can be layered with so many different pieces. I could go on and on. Just get this dress!!

I recently ordered the blue one and love it soooo much! It's a perfect Spring/Summer dress...the little underskirt hides everything important and lets the rest of the skirt flow and drape beautifully. Wonderful fabric. I have a little Buddha belly and the (sort of) high waist hides that without looking frumpy. Just ordered the spice color too! Lucky someone returned a M and I snagged the last one! Both will look great with a denim jacket to make it casual. Great value! Great dress!

I ordered this online and was a little disappointed with the fit of the lower half of the dress....it made me look rather big around the hips. I am 5'5 and 116lbs, I got an XS. However I loved the color, and the way the top part fitted, so I actually took it to my alteration lady, got her to cut a bit of the bulk out of the sides, now I love it! Definitely worth the price, even if you spend an extra $20 getting it altered like me. Great summer dress! Top part is see through, but a skin tone flesh colored bra goes perfectly under it for me.

I tried for a few days to let this dress grow on me, but ending up returning it. There's nothing wrong with the dress itself--it's nicely made, the color is nice, and I love the hemline. However, it did not work my body. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs, and the longest part came to mid-shin. Thus, I felt that it made me look oddly short in an unflattering way. Also, I couldn't get over the belt tie placement. It fell just under my breasts, making it almost look like a maternity dress on me. A tie that falls at the waist is much more flattering, I find. All in all, it had to go back.
