Bought these pants in store and they are beautiful but unfortunately the fabric choice was terrible. Wore them once and there is a big hole in-between the legs and most other seams are pulling apart significantly. They are super roomy so it's not that there is any grand amount of tension being put on the seams - it's just paper thin and very weak. The day I wore them was to sit at a desk in an office so I wasn't being rough with them either. It's too bad because they had the potential to be great...

These pants are comfortable, stylish, long enough for me. They fit slightly large; I ordered the S and I'm usually a 28 or 29 in FP jeans. Soft and flattering. I may order another pair!

LOVE these pants! Exactly like FP One Pacific Trails pants from last year, but different patterns & similar fabric. They are a bit on the larger side, I ordered XS & S and usually wear a 26 or 27 and the S felt big (I'm keeping the XS). They are also long and I have to wear 4-6" heels because I'm 5'3" (that also makes my legs look SUPER long!!). I love the waistband because it's comfortable and flattering (doesn't cut into your hip skin). These are my favorite new purchase and I highly recommend :)

I wanted to love these pants sooo much, but unfortunately they had some flaws. I love the look and the wide leg. I could tell right away that the fabric was not great, they were see through and I was afraid to wash them, but I washed them on delicate and let them tumble dry. They came out frayed and ripping apart, and on top of that the fit in the thigh area felt really weird. I am so bummed these pants are so cheaply made. For the price FreePeople needs to produce better quality clothing.

I loved these pants in the store so much I bought the orange and blue colors. However, after wearing the blue pants for the first time, there were holes at the cuffs and the seams looked like they were about to bust. I'm thin (6'0" and 145lbs). The pants fit beautifully! - Nice and long, but I had to return both pair due to the quality. Great suggestion for these pants: Maybe consider lining them and re-enforcing all stitching?

I love the concept of these pants. Comfy, great print, lightweight fabric, bell bottoms, super long. They have a unfinished hem so you can cut off the bottom if you need to shorten them. The draw back of these pants is that they are poor quality. I have worn them once and they are coming apart at all the seems. I took them to a seamstress thinking if she reinforced them it would work out. But she informed me that its the fabric and even if she reinforced them, they would probably rip again. So sad, love them but for $80+ not worth it.
Rated 1 out of 5Â by catheri28 seams ripped on the first wear
I loved the look of these in the dressing room and they fit somewhat loose ...as they should... but like many of the other reviewers here, the crotch to the tummy seams ripped on the first wear...I was lucky to be wearing a long flowing top that covered the rip...and the pants were baggy enough to somewhat hide the 8 inch tear.... so now I have a pair of $98. pants made of very flimsy fabric that are of no use to me? I wonder why free people makes the choice to use substandard fabrics with non reinforced seams? this happens a lot....very pretty clothes that are NOT durable enough to last a season...or even a night...something to think about.

Bought these and they are way too big. I should have looked at the model photo closer because its evident here too. I have a 31" inseam and I had to hem them as well which is a royal pain in the bum with bells in-case you didn't know! I do love them though, but the price is too high. I never know what top to wear with these either. Personal purchase fail.
