For reference, I'm about 5'4-5'5 with petite body frame. I ordered the XS, with the intention of wearing it as a mini dress, and it fits nicely.
There are two things to keep in mind: (1) The material is thin & the dress is sheer. So if you are planning to go braless since the back is low-cut, not a wise idea! This would be an ideal Spring/Summer dress. However, I live in San Francisco and so, the weather is not always permitting for thin dresses. I make it work with sheer black tights & a lacy bralette or crop bra of a similar color that is low enough to not distract away from the depth of low-cut back.
(2) It wrinkles VERY easily being worn throughout the day. It is not significantly noticeable, but I felt inclined to iron it a few times while lounging around at home, because I was initially annoyed by how easy it wrinkles. Overall, the detailing is beautiful & the low-cut back is elegant. I would recommend this product both as a dress or a tunic with a slender pair of light blue jeans (I would size down if you're planning to wear it as a tunic).
