I am 5'2 and have a curvy hourglass figure. I usually wear a large but the medium fits best for me. I wear mine as a tunic because its too short in the front otherwise. The back comes down to about mid thigh. I never thought this slip would work for me but I now have two. The first is in Dusty Lilac and I just bought the Lemon Combo today! The fabric for both is very soft, polka dotted, and a bit sheer. It's very sweet and feminine. These are my first purchases from Free People and I don't regret it. If you're considering this slip but not sure about it for your body type, this curvy girl recommends it!

i got this in "tea" but when i pulled it out of the box it more closely resembled the light yellow color. it was unfortunate because i loved everything else about it. will sadly be sending it back. 3 stars because aside from the misleading picture everything else was good.

Like the majority of free people dresses, this dress was made for people who are 5'9 and taller. It fits me perfect except for the length, which looks awkward because I am only 5'4. This is just something to keep in mind if you are not looking for a dress that comes down to your knees.

I feel like this is THE FP slip to buy. For reference I am 5'9", 150 lbs, and typically wear a size 6. I bought a small in the royal color. I read the reviews and knew that it runs large, but man was it large! Maybe I should have gotten an xs? I have a pear shape and where the lace meets my hips, I felt like it flares out a bit and makes me look wider than I actually am. For the price of it, I'm really torn about returning it, or taking it to the tailor to have it taken in. Overall it's a beautiful slip in a beautiful color.. Not sure if it's worth having to alter.

I like this slip way more than I thought I would! I'm pretty small so it's a little baggy, but other than that it's great; super comfortable and versatile. It looks a lot better in person than it does in the pictures!

I wanted to love this, I really did. Especially since all the reviews say that this slip is universally flattering. NOT TRUE. If you are a size 12 or up, and you have large breasts, this will make you look like a Russian circus tent. It's definitely cute, so if you're waifish or typically a medium or smaller, go for it. Otherwise you're better off waiting for something with more structure.

I ordered this dress in the cobalt blue and I absolutely love it. I'm really excited about all the layering options. I'm 5'2 and 108 lbs. and ordered the xs. I would have given the slip 5 stars but when it arrived it was extremely wrinkled and i needed to wear it that day, which was kind of a bummer. As other reviewers have noted it is see through. You do need to wear something underneath. But that's why it's called a slip. lol This is a must buy for any freepeople shopper.

Honestly, I'm not one to spend a crazy amount of money on clothes. I really loved this slip, but I wasn't sure if I should spend so much on it. After coveting it for months, I finally decided to go for it. I did a lot of reading before I chose my size and I looked around everywhere else first to see if I could find a dress like this one for less money. I ended up buying this slip in a size medium in the tea color. I figured I could always make it smaller with some sewing adjustments if necessary. I probably have already worn in at least 7 times and I've only had it for a few weeks. I absolutely LOVE it. The outfit possibilities are endless. I ended up ordering the black as well. They are a little see-through but that isn't really a problem if you layer. For reference, I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs. I could have gone with a small but I like how the medium is longer so I can wear it as a dress without being too scandalous. Don't think twice, get this dress. You will not regret it.
