These overalls work throughout the year: tanks or short-sleeves in warm weather to flannels and denim jackets in cooler temps. The size 27 fit great, and the buttons can be adjusted if needed. I'm 5'3", 113-116 pounds, depending on what I eat. I recommend these jeans for those who like a casual, BoHo style. Bet they might take heels and a silk shirt and dressy jacket, too. Will have to try that one.

I catch myself watching my favorite items daily. I plan and scheme, visualize myself in my favorite items and the next thing I know...I'm in um! Free People is the first clothing company that I find myself saving up to purchase my favorite items. These Eclipse overalls were worth the stalking! I love them. They are really comfortable and the dark grey makes them a bit edgy and alternative. I love the length. They can be rolled up a bit or left as is. I ordered the 26 because I have hips and I didn't want them to squeeze me in the lower waist hip area around the back. They stretch a bit as the day goes on and they are quite comfy. I still feel flexible and can move freely, which is very important in my clothing purchases. Functional, funky and stylish!

Just received these yesterday, but will have to exchange for a bigger size. I'm 5'6" & 137 lbs and ordered a 27 in the brady wash. i like the length a lot, its very cropped-like looking with the cuff. so not very baggy or shapeless.
i also like the brady wash, because i'm a dark denim fan. so this looks like it will age well.
now, the fit... so i'm not usually this heavy, so i may be out of touch with my size needs at this weight. but these were too tight for my liking :( so i'm exchanging for a 29. i felt like i couldn't move my legs enough in the 27. (big thighs?) i could pull them on, but probably not go about my day in a comfortable way.
i didn't see any other reviews mentioning a weight near mine, so i had to review; hope this helps anyone. they're really cute and on trend.

A couple months ago, it finally came time to replace my all-time favorite vintage overalls that I've been wearing for years (they literally were in tatters). Sad!! Then FP came out with the perfectly faded Eclipse color in these bad boys... happy!! After debating which size to get (I'm usually a 25/26 - 100 lbs - 5'5") after reading all the reviews, I decided that the whole point of overalls is to look like you aren't trying too hard, so I went with the 26. They are definitely looser, but by no means baggy, and suit my boho/western/biker personal style better anyway. Basically the fit on me looks very similar to the model in the pic. Been pairing with sexy little crop tops, my fashion-savvy bf has been LOVING the look :) Can't wait to pair with leather and chunky sweaters as the seasons change. Seriously amazing,

I hesitated buying these when they first came out online, they sold out and I was disappointed. As soon as a pair in size 24 came back in stock I grabbed them. I typically wear a 25, but I went with the consensus among reviews - and sized down; I'm glad I did. I found them to still be a little roomy, and fit a little awkwardly in the crotch region. I decided to wash them and throw them in the dryer on a hot setting, hoping they'd shrink. Sure enough, they are the perfect fit now. The material is soft and I like the fact that I can roll or unroll the bottom of these. I recommend these if you're looking for a chic version of a classic from when you were 10!

I was so excited when I got these. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size 27. I'm usually somewhere between 26/27, but I've never had anything from Free People before. I opted for the 27 for the length, and I figured looser would look better than tighter. I'm pretty happy with them. They fit well, and the straps are a great length. However, they are a little loose in the waist and around the hips. If you're on the fence on size, I recommend ordering down because they do stretch. For reference, I'm 5'9, 60kg (132 lbs).

Couldn't wait to get my hands on these and followed the advice from previous reviews and ordered a size down and they fit great. I am 5'5 and 123 pounds and they certainly don't look like yesterday's frumpy overalls so cute, can't wait to break them in. Long live Free People and Props again for a job well done

I had my eyes on these overalls for a long time, but hesitated to buy because of the price. However, when they came back in stock in Brady Wash, I just couldn't resist any longer and got myself a pair. I knew for sure that I wanted a fitted look, so I sized down from my normal 25 to 24. They do run large, because 24 fits just right - it is body-hugging, but not too tight. The material turned out to be a lot softer than I expected, which is a good thing, as it makes the romper sooo comfortable. Interestingly, when I first tried it on, I was disappointed and even though of making a return, as the item seemed a little 'lopsided' - it looked weird in the button part on the waist. But after wearing it around for a few minutes, the problem seemed to have disappeared, and it started growing on me again :)
These overalls go equally well with sandals, keds and high heels, and look unexpectedly good with the Free People High Neck Bra.
I definitely recommend it to anyone digging overalls this season :)
