Not Your Typical BodyCon Dress

"Bought the Garnet and it is a very pretty maroon against a dark-eggplant-ish ground and not stretchy although it has plenty of give. Web Lace effect texture and colors give this a colder weather vibe. Not lingerie-ish. Can see through your legs if standing in the light or outside but can not see nude underwear. Can wear a bandeau/strapless bra or even an adjustable/multi way bra set criss-crossed with front straps connected wide out and back connected close to the hook & eye of the bra. Skims perfectly, straps are not too long, and not tight at all yet too short for me to wear alone as a dress. For reference I bought the Small and I am a 34-C, 130 lbs., 5'8" tall and approx 35-27-36. I layer it with the Moonduster Maxi, the Knit Slim Bootlegs and the Cara Pocket Hip Belt. As with so many FP garments, the color way of this one has a changing personality and works with blacks, eggplants, dark maroons, dark grays, dark purples, dark deninms and dark navys."

Loose in the bust, tight in the butt

"I ordered this in the garnet color in M (5'6", 130 lbs, 34B/C). First of all, the garnet color was NOTHING like what I was expecting from image online. I thought it was going to be mostly black, but it was purple. Wasn't thrilled about that. Then I put it on, and I wasn't thrilled about that either. I was expecting it to be a much sexier dress. Instead, it looks like something I could wear to my grandmother's. It's too long, in my opinion. Also, it fits me pretty awkwardly. It's really loose in the bust area and tight in the butt area (My boobs aren't small or anything and I really don't have much going on in the hip department, though I do have a bit of a booty). The tight in the butt thing would be fine with me, except the material isn't stretchy at all, so instead of hugging the butt, it only hugs like one tiny section where it's the largest and is draped loosely everywhere else. The way it pulls in the butt area messes up the whole balance of the dress and just makes it look extra awkward. I will be returning."

"I tried this on in my usual XS in the purple color and was very disappointed. First, I would need to alter the straps since they are far to long. Second, this is huge! On the model this dress is form fitting, but that is definitely not how it looks on me. I'm sure this would look great on someone taller, but this definitely is not for petite women."

Color Not as Pictured

"I didn't even recognize this dress when it came in the mail. The "Garnet" color, which looks almost black or at least dark purple in the picture, showed up as basically a muted fuschia color. I mean there is just no way you could be able to tell the actual color from the picture, it would hardly even match her outfit; and I think the dress looks much cheaper in the fuschia color. Returned this."

"I bought this dress in the store and I love it! The Purple color is beautiful and the dress is so flattering. It would be perfect for night time with some wedges or pumps, but could also be worn for day in the winter with boots and a denim jacket! so cute!"

"This bodycon is not as stretchy as the typical FP bodycons. It has an awesome fit and hugs in all the right areas. I am 5'6" and 130 lbs. and I took an xs. I have a small chest and larger bottom area. The top fit perfect and the dress was still long enough despite my hips. This is a a total must have for Fall. You can dress it down with the pointelle leggings and boots or sass it up with a leather jacket and some JC's! <3"
