"I purchased the Cri Messeca platform boots in black. I just received the boots in the mail and was a tad disappointed to see that the quality of these boots was not as I had expected. Unfortunately, I could see some of the glue as well as some other details I spotted. They look beautiful from afar though so i might just keep them, and i did after all get them for the sale price (such a steal!)
Oh and I tired them on and they were really quite comfortable for heels, lots of toe space."

Not what I expected

"I was really excited to get these shoes! They look so good online. But when I finally got them they weren't what I expected. AT ALL. I was expecting a burnt auburn colored shoe, instead they were a faded red clay like color and suede. I went straight to the website to magnify them and compare. Its completely different."

"These boots are so darned adorable. The problem was that the leather in the photo looks almost nothing like the leather that the boots are actually made from. In person they don't have that same brownish aged look. They are very purpley and almost like suede. I worry they won't hold up as well as I had thought when I thought they looked like the photo. The biggest problem is, they are still really cute... so I have not decided whether or not to actually return them. They don't look like they were $200 tho..."
