I picked up this sweater because of the chunky knit and nearly put it down when I saw how boxy it looked, but well, once you feel how soft it is you won't want to part with it either! Anyway, I was looking for a thermal and decided to take this back with me to the fitting room on a whim to see how it's shape would look over other things. Sweet, sweet mercy. I love this sweater. I've never bought a loose sweater like this and let me tell you that it hangs beautifully. The sumptuous knit is dense enough that the sweater gives you the look of, "oh, I don't have to try to look good. I just barely got out of bed 5 minutes ago with my French lover" because it effortlessly cuddles your chest but leaves your love handles to the imagination. Needless to say, I bought this instead of the thermal. It looks GREAT on byitself and wonderful layered over a thermal! Very versatile, cozy, and oversized. I normally order a small, bought in this I sized down to an XS so I wouldn't drown. I'm 5'4", 119 lbs., 32 A. Also, I purchased this in the champagne color which is like a very, very light apricot. Gorgeous.

Really cute and cozy on. I purchased this in my normal FP size XSmall, and it has plenty of room. I am a petite at 5'2" so it hangs longer on me than on the model. The knit is on the heavier side, is not itchy or scratchy, and the heavier weight allows the sweater to hang nicely without looking bulky. The sleeves are a little on the small side, but I wouldn't size up unless you feel you have bigger arms. I ordered the black color way and it is definitely black and not soot, so maybe the previous reviewer received one that got mixed up in FP's inventory. If you are looking at an XSmall, here are the dimensions of the one I received:
front length from shoulder seam: 23 1/2"
back length from shoulder seam: 27 1/2"
bust all around: 55"
sleeve length from neck opening: 17 1/2"
sleeve cuff width across relaxed: 4"

It looks and fits great at first but then it pills and goes out of shape after a couple washes... In a laundry bag on delicate/cool and laid flat to dry. It has discolored and gotten super pilly and fuzzy under the armpits and wearever something has rubbed it... especially where my purse touched it.. sad and disappointed!

Love the look and feel of this sweater. Lots of compliments when I wear this. I have this in black and soot. Super cute and soft. However, I noticed after one wash (in a lingerie bag) my black pullover is already falling apart at the cuff and pilling. Really??? For $108 for a cotton pullover that shouldn't happen. Disappointed!

This sweater is very soft and ultra comfy cute! A word of caution though, Oversized is an understatement. I am 5'4" and 120lbs with an athletic build....I ordered the XS in Soot and it is very big. Looks adorable off the shoulder with skinny jeans/leggings, but don't think I could wear it on both shoulders if I wanted to....Sometimes falls off both shoulders when moving around. Nonetheless, it is very cute with a nice, flattering shape. When worn with shoulder seams at top of shoulders(not pulled to the back) the front of the sweater hangs under my hips.

I do like this sweater. A word of caution--I ordered the black online and received in mail yesterday and it was the soot color. The tag even says "black" on it. I tried it on anyway and do like the oversize fit. Sweater is not wool and you could wear it when the weather is just a bit cool. The sleeves are just below your elbow so if you like to push back the sleeves on your sweaters anyway, this makes it kind of easier. Even though I did not order the soot color, I may keep it anyway. I will look for a real black sweater somehow.

For me this what a Hit. However this is the second FP sweater I have bought and it seems each sweater is unique in how it is made. Some are more stretched out than others some have small holes in the arm pits and some are fresh out the box stiff and unworn. But one thing is certain they all have a very low tailoring in the armpits so raising your arms over your head lifts the entire sweater up pass your belly button. I got this sweater in Medium and it still happens but the sweater itself is huge on me. I still love it and it hangs artfully off my shoulders, very soft and great color (Soot). I have not washed my sweaters yet but I will definitely DRY CLEAN. Its cotton and its knit so they spells fragile. Fours stars for the awkward armpit seam.

I bought this sweater in pink originally and then returned it when I found out they had it in mint (my all time favorite color).
The Pros: Super soft, cozy, and comfy. It's like the warmest and most magical sweater to wear. Its really long and the wide neckline makes it easy to wear off the shoulder. One of those things you can just throw on and look awesome.
The Cons: After about 2 or 3 washes (on cold and a gentle cycle) the color really started to fade. To the point that my co-workers thought I had gone out and bought a grey version. My sweater isn't mint at all anymore, closer to a pale grey. Idk if its just the mint that does this, but just be wary of the color fading.
