I am tall 5'11", so not sure who FP made this skirt for as I cut 6" off the bottom? It hangs nicely and good basic, but a little thin for the price. Nice but not mad about it.

Love free people, but was not happy with this skirt. After reading reviews I was confident in making the purchase - I wear a size 2 and after reading the skirt runs a tad large, I ordered an XS. Come to find out the skirt runs HUGE and the fabric is poor quality making it see thru. Not happy at all with the decline in quality of free people. This skirt is totally not worth your $88!!

I have this skirt in 2 out of the 3 colors available. I absolutely love this skirt. I wear it to work, to the beach, out to dinner. Anywhere!!! It is my favorite skirt. It is very long. I am 5'9" tall and it was still too long. I just threw it in the washer and dryer and problem solved. It shrunk up enough to wear it with my flat sandals. This skirt is so comfy it is ridiculous. I would recommend this skirt to anyone. Worth every penny!!!

I have a lot to say about this skirt, so please bear with me! I am really pleased with it. I overlooked it for ages because I thought it was just another jersey maxi that would be disappointingly unflattering and paper-baggish. However it is comfortable and flattering and drapes really well. I am usually L or 12 in FP skirts, occasionally M or 10, 5'6" and am pretty broad-hipped. This skirt in L (could possibly have sized down but didn't bother trying) makes me look 'long and lean' and I would recommend it to anybody curvaceous if they would like to feel a bit more column-like once in a while! It is very long as previously noted, but rolls at the waist without looking bunched up or spoiling the drape, is long enough to work as a maxi dress if that's your style, or could simply be cut. Fabric is thin but I wouldn't say cheap, just cleverly deployed, not transparent and gives almost a silkiness, has enough weight to hang well. Dresses up or down, any season, you could use a plain maxi slip under for warmth or coverage. I have this in black (2 of them because I don't want to be without it at any time!), taupe and charcoal. A request and a suggestion for FP: please do this in more colours, I and I'm sure others would buy them. Personally I'd love a dusty purple like the Mad Hatter black & purple tee and a pebble colour like the Lydia skirt. Someone else mentioned navy and I bet khaki green would go down well. And I think a lot of ladies who are a size 12 plus would be really happy with this flattering and comfortable skirt if you also offered it in XL.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by talltrekker Great for length and travel
I'm 6', 127 lbs, and thrilled to find a maxi that is truly a maxi! Mot miraculous of all, the fabulous length held through a warm water machine wash -- although I did line dry. The small fits loose enough for all-day comfort and the light and flowy fabric is perfect for travel in tropical countries.

Love the skirt, though it does drag on the ground - even with heels on. I'm 5'7" and bought the M hoping it will shrink a little in the wash. Still love the flow of it. Looks great with a tight fitting top. Taupe color is as pictured.

I am 5'5" and ordered a size medium, which is my usual size. I ordered both the rust and taupe, and the colors are absolutely beautiful in real life. I agree with some users that the fabric could be a bit thicker, but I love how it feels so light and airy, and thus will be great for summer.
Now when I wear it as a skirt, the skirt is very very long (almost has like a train because it's so long). When I pull up the skirt and wear it as a strapless dress, it his just below my ankle and is perfect as a maxi dress. I would belt it to give the dress some shape.
However, what I think I'm going to do is cut it, so that I can wear it as a skirt and it will be a midi skirt and hit my shin, and then when I wear it as a dress it will hit right around the knee. I really think this piece can be versatile, as you can wear it as a loose dress, or belt it as a dress, and then wear it as skirt.
I'm excited to wear it!

This skirt became a staple of my wardrobe as soon as I put it on. Flows nicely and very comfortable. The fabric is very thin and I was initially surprised, especially considering the $88 price tag. I recommend for the summer as it's airy and loose. I did notice a significant change in length after I put it in the dryer, so take note if you're not happy with length. I'm 5'8" and 125 lbs and I ordered the medium and it fits fine.
